You see, when you first got pregnant, Loke was enthused. He was super excited and wanted to be there for you in every moment. Until he remembered that he could feel your pain. He was treading on waters that most men had endured before, but he knew for damm sure that this wasn't going to be easy. Then again, he survived multiple wounds that literally killed him and sent him back to the celestial realm to recover. He could hopefully survive this.

He was so fucking wrong. The moment her water broke, he could feel her contractions. It was definitely a distraction when he was trying to take her to the hospital. Thankfully they got there fast enough and the doctors calmly led her to a separate room, giving you epidural so that you wouldn't feel the pain. Now, this was the tricky part, Loke wasn't allowed to have epidural, not one bit. He wasn't actually feeling pain, so he had to go through the entire childbirth feeling your pain.

When you were finally ready to give birth, with the baby's head being seen, things got more intense for your husband and soulmate. He had to step out, walking around the waiting room as the pain seemed to intensify. It was oddly silent in the room with you, considering you didn't feel pain, but you felt intense pressure. It was like you were pushing a ton instead of a baby.

And when you started to push, it was as if Loke was being shot a thousand times over. He was trying to hold his sounds in, but then he started shouting and it grew louder as his fists aimed for walls. He needed to leave immediately, otherwise this place was going down with one simple magic spell. So he teleported to Lucy, who happened to be at the Guild. Once everyone saw him drop to the ground shouting and groveling, it was like they understood.

"Holy bitchstick on the side of a fucking hot day, this hurts!" he shouted, holding his nether region. Most people frowned, and it was Gajeel who was frowning the most considering his own wife was on the way towards her first child too. And Gajeel wasn't excited, especially after seeing Loke.

"Oh my god, how do women even live after this!?" Loke shouted, groveling further. Natsu, Gajeel, and Gray lifted him and brought him to the infirmary to grovel there. After a long while of shouting and painful squirming, the pain turned into a dull ache, which meant that the baby was born. Loke stood from the bed and teleported back to the hospital, hurrying back to the room you were in. He hurried through the door only to see you, looking almost ethereal as you held a baby girl in your arms. It was a girl...

You looked up, smiling at your husband tiredly, "Isn't she beautiful?"

Loke nodded, unable to speak from pure awe. He had a baby girl to protect now, one he'd do anything to protect. And that same baby is one day going to find her soulmate. He moved forward, happily going to cradle the small girl. You passed her over to Loke, your smile turning into a grin.

"I think Luella is a nice name," you spoke softly.

He shook his head, a bright smile on his lips, "No... she seems more like a... like a (D/N)..."

"Yeah... yeah she does," you whispered softly. "(D/N) Luella (L/N)."

"It's a beautiful name," Loke said. Her eyes were screwed tightly shut, soft whimpers leaving her lips as Loke cooed.

Your family was ready to be beautiful and happy, despite the fact that Loke went through the hell of childbirth with you. He smiled at you and gave you a soft kiss before you fell asleep peacefully.
