Porch.

Chapter 18: Alexia's POV

I drove back down the road one hand on the wheel, worried Cole would of had a melt down again. I slammed the breaks out front of the house, not bothering to park in the drive way. I unlocked the door and walked inside only to see Cole sitting on the edge of his couch as a tear ran down his face. I rushed over and sat myself beside him. I looked at the tear on as the sun reflected a small shimmer on it. After gazing into his eyes long enough I grabbed his jaw a pulled it towards my lips. I gave him a small peck thinking he would pull away and only get mad, but he went back in with a more affectionate kiss. Relieved on how he felt, I pulled him in for a hug as he layed on my lap and fell asleep. I smiled at myself and followed Cole's actions by closing my eyes and drifting asleep.

I woke up with Cole still in my lap but awake, staring into the screen of the TV. "Good morning," I said twirling the blonde hair on his head.

I dragged the cosy blanket along with me into the kitchen and filled two bowls up with cereal and milk. I carried both bowls over to the couch and placed one in Cole's hands, as he responded with a 'thankyou'. Without any hesitation I ask Cole if he was ok after the breakup.

"No."

"Do wanna talk about it?"

Cole got up and sat beside me, "wanna go for a walk up town."

I agreed to his request but still curious on what happened when I left. Without questioning him any further I got myself ready for the day.

I walked down the hallway, latched my hand with Cole's and close the door behind us.

We sat in a small cafe across from the park, and for some reason it was quite awkward.

From the cafe we then walked down the street a little more to a gallery full of the towns finest photographers, including Cole. Cole's eyes gazed into the photos with interest as he explained them all to me. This felt like the old days, before everything went down hill...
