3 days later...
I woke up only to see one half of the bed empty. Cole had a meeting at 9:00 in the morning once again, which then meant I had three hours to get ready, pick up Cole's present for his birthday and meet him out front of the building where the meeting was held. But if it was Cole's birthday, that then meant it was also Dylan's. I layed in bed debating whether to send him a text wishing him happy birthday. I clicked on the Snapchat app and searched for Dylan's name.
Me: Happy birthday Dylan, hope you have a great one and enjoy your day xx
After the hesitation I clicked send, I didn't want to go as far as a birthday shout out on my story, so I left it where it was.
I picked out an orange jacket with a pair of white jeans and t-shirt. After putting on my makeup I grabbed my black wallet of the kitchen bench and drove full speed to pick up Cole's present in time. After a ten minute drive of thinking I pulled up out front of a local post office. "Good morning young lady, how may I help you today," the oldish lady welcomed.
"Hi, is there a package here under 'Alexia Williams'?"
"I'll check..." after a long few moments of waiting, the nicely dressed woman walked back out, "I'm sorry but I can't seem to find anything under that name, sorry dear."
NO! "Um, that's fine, thanks anyway..." I walked out to my car shattered by the thought of Cole not getting anything on his birthday, but then realised I ordered the package under Cole's name for some unknown reason. I turned and ran back into the small shop, "I'm sorry to bother you again, but is there anything under 'Cole Sprouse'?"
"I can take another quick look for you..."
"Thankyou so much!"
After a not so long wait, the woman walked back out with a package in her hands, "here we go," she said placing the small package on the counter top.
"Great! Thankyou again," I exclaimed signing the papers.
With only five minutes to get to Cole's meeting I sped off into the distance. I parked out front of the tall building as my snapchat notification went off. I looked at my lock screen and saw 'Dylan is typing...' pop up. I put my thumb print in and slid into the chat. I saw Dylan's bitmoji in the corner above the keyboard disappear. The small smirk on my face slowly turned into a confused expression. "Hey," Cole's voice appeared, "you ok?"
"Cole! I'm fine, happy birthday!" I leant over for a hug.
"Before we head home can we go to Starbucks quick I didn't have a coffee this morning."
"Of course, I'll give you your present while we're there..." I said with a wink.
"Alexia...you didn-"
"Too bad."
We arrived out front of Starbucks, which unusually had only a few cars out front. We lined up behind two people deciding what we felt like. "Can I get two iced coffees, one with whipped cream please."
Shortly after we were handed two plastic cups full of coffee. "Ok hurry and sit down so I can give you your present!" I said grabbing Cole's hand and pulling him to a table against a window. I handed him the package, "it's not wrapped sorry." I said with a giggle.
"WOAH Alexia!"
"I saw you looking at the photographs the other day and thought you needed a new camera, as your other one is getting old..."
"Alexia thankyou so much, how could you afford this!" I didn't know whether to be offended or happy by Cole's reaction.
"Don't even worry. Take it out and try it."
Cole held the camera up at me, "pose."
