I walked out of the bathroom and to the table trying to be casual but obviously failing once Cole asked if I was ok. "Huh? Me, I'm fine." I covered up the fact that I was dying a little inside.

"Ok then? Your drink's here." I obviously wasn't as good as an actor as Cole and Dylan as Cole still knew something was wrong.

Dylan and Cole began talking about whatever boys talk about as I sipped my drink staring at Dylan. He turned to me with a smirk and winked. I choked on my coffee as the nerves began getting to me.

Cole went up and paid for our meals leaving me and Dylan alone once again.

"Dylan! What the heck," I yelled in a whisper.

We began walking out. I turned and looked at the brunette waiter once more wondering why her and Dylan gave each other such a look. Dylan got in the drivers seat as Cole hopped in the front passengers. I sat myself in the back fiddling with my fingers quietly. I looked at both of the twins as my mind flashed back to when things used to be simple, before I was skating around a rink as Cole held my arm, before Melanie and Dylan surprised us in the middle of the night and of course before I kissed Dylan. But my mind also travelled back to when Dylan and I were secretly a couple and how great he was.

We arrived home and I still hadn't said a word since I sat back down at the table. I walked into the bath and took my shirt off to change into more comfortable clothing. After throwing over one of Cole's baggy t-shirts I looked up into the mirror and saw Cole leaning against the door. I gasped in fear, "woah chill." Cole ensured.

"Sorry," I shook my head and smirked.

"Are you sure your ok? That's the first I've heard of you in the last hour, and since when have you been so jumpy-"

"Cole I'm fine I'm serious. I just think I'm still a little tired from our long trip yesterday." Maybe I was a better lyer than I thought.

"Well do you want to lay in bed and watch a movie?"

"No thanks, I think I'm just gonna sit on the back porch and read a book." Which wasn't a good idea after all.

"Ok well I'm going to lay down for a while."

I followed Cole down the hallway as we both went separate directions after reaching the end. I sat in a hammock and opened the book up to where I last read. I followed the words one after the other when I was interrupted by a husky voice, "the fault in our stars."

"Third time reading it." I looked up to Dylan.

"Really? I've read it like 80 times." I laughed at Dylan's sarcasm. "Where's Cole?"

"Resting, why?"

"No reason." He sat on the other end of the hammock resting his legs on mine. I soon realised Dylan thought we were now a thing from how comfortable he was around me. But the thing was I hadn't made up my mind yet.

"Dylan I don't know if this is right..."

"What?" Dylan chuckled.

"This," I pointed at myself and then Dylan with all seriousness. "We can't go through what we went through again, it's just not right." I closed my book.

Dylan looked down with depression but not for long as he got up and pecked my lips again. I blushed and smiled back up at him. I opened my book again leaving Dylan to rest his legs on me. It was all so calm having him there.

After a long afternoon of reading and flirting with Dylan I walked back into the guest bedroom to see Cole fast asleep and hugging a pillow. Melanie had ordered take away for dinner, I opened the door to see a pizza man holding three boxes of pizzas in his hands, "let me get you some money," I grabbed the pizzas and placed them on the kitchen bench. I thanked the man and handed him a 20 dollar note. "Dinner!" I called out to the family as I opened and lined up all the boxes.

Melanie walked out taking a plate of vegetarian pizza and sat on the couch watching the news report. I looked up and smirked at Dylan who grabbed a few pieces of pepperoni. Cole walked out looking like he had just woken up and grabbed one slice of pepperoni. "Not hungry?"

"No." Cole walked back into the guest bedroom with an attitude.

"Don't worry Alexia he gets in those moods every now and then," Matthew was the first to take a slice of all pizza flavours and sat with Melanie on the couch. Even though I knew Cole could get moody I found it odd that he was like this at that moment.

I grabbed two slices of vegetarian and joined Dylan on the floor of the living room. Melanie then changed from the news to Netflix. I looked at Dylan who was nibbling on the pizza rather than shoving it all in his mouth, unlike Cole would do. I continued helping pick a movie when Dylan suggested one of my favourites 'Passengers'. Dylan really was the full package...
