I walked from the guest bedroom into the kitchen, where Dylan was standing stirring a steaming hot coffee. I wanted to walk back down the hall but he turned around before I could. "Morning, Dylan."
Dylan sipped his coffee and nodded at me beginning to walk out onto the back porch. I followed him out a few moments later to talk as nobody had woken yet. "How are you..." I placed myself on a stair next to him.
He turned and squinted his eyes at me, "what are you trying to accomplish here?"
"Nothing, I just wanted to have a conversation with you as we haven't seen each other in a while."
"Your the reason why we haven't seen each other Alexia, you pushed me away...remember?"
I looked down at my bare feet knowing he was right, "and I'm sorry, but it was to help Cole...and it worked."
"You only pushed me away so you could get back with Cole!" Dylan raised the tone in his voice as Cole had coincidentally walked out at the moment, "I'm out of here."
I threw my face in my palms as Cole put his hand on my back, "what was that all about."
I let out a loud sigh, "he's still upset about our break up still and thinks I'm taking you for granted, I guess that's what I get for trying to make up with him."
"I can try talking to him?" Cole thankfully offered.
"Could you please..." I begged. Cole responded with a nod and ran after Dylan.
After sitting out on the porch staring at the grass for a few minutes after, I walked into the living room to see Cole talking to Dylan, "thanks Dylan it would mean a lot," I hid behind the wall as they got up for a brotherly hug. I ran back into the bedroom without being caught. Cole wondered in, "he's willing to talk to you..." happy with this fact I walked out to the living room casually.
"I'm sorry Dylan."
"I am too Alexia, I'm happy to get over all this and move on as friends." He grinned a little.
"Really, thankyou so much Dylan!"
Short chapter I know, but next chapter Alexia and Dylan are going to start up again, and soon she's going to found out something huge! Happy reading:)
