"Cole!" I called down the hallway, "you left your plate out again, there's ants everywhere!" In the last day I had been noticing that I was getting fustrated over the smallest things, as I was a little stressed out about seeing Dylan again.

"Ok, chill we can easily clean this up..." Cole said holding up his hands like he was about to get arrested.

"Yes, sorry..." Cole hugged me reassuring everything was ok.

"Are you busy today?" I asked out of boredom.

"Alexia we have to pack for tomorrow, we won't be going out today."

I rolled my eyes and left Cole to clean up. I opened up the cupboard and stared at all the clothes as I let out a huge sigh. I picked out a few t-shirts, jackets, jeans and shoes and stuffed them all in a suitcase. "Alexia fold them properly," Cole walked into the room laughing.

"Yes Mom...have you finished packing then?"

"Yes actually, all I have to pack is my toiletry bag tomorrow, huh!" Cole said with his hands on his hips.

I rolled my eyes and sighed again, I was feeling extra tired today and really didn't feel like packing at all. "I'll watched a movie with you after..." Cole negotiated.

This made me pack quicker as I stuffed more and more things into my bag.

By now it was 3:00 pm and Cole and I had just placed our bottoms on the couch ready to search for a movie. After searching for 15 minutes my eyes began to feel heavy. With a small yawn I was asleep.

I woke up spread out all over the couch, leaving only little room for Cole to sleep. I looked up at the clock as it read 4:00 am. I closed my eyes again and continued my dream.

"Alexia..." I heard a whisper, "time to get up, we've got a six hour drive ahead of us."

"Huh, oh yeah that's right," I said in a snort. I looked up and saw Cole leaning over at me with a big smile on his face. I pulled him down and kiss his cheek, "I smell eggs."

"I made eggs."

I lifted myself up as the smell called me. Cole skipped into the kitchen like a child and placed two eggs and a piece of toast on my plate. Judging by Cole's childish actions I could tell he was excited to see his brother once again. "Cole may I ask...why did your mum leave?"

"She didn't want to be around me...I was throwing stuff everywhere...but I'm better now so don't worry about anything." Cole chucked his plate in the soaping water and ran into the bathroom to brush his squeaky white teeth. I still found the situation a bit odd as it wasn't something Melanie would do.

"Ready to go Alexia!" Cole called from the front door.

"Let me just grab my charger!" I pulled it out of the wall and dragged my suitcase down the hallway.

"Here let me help you with that..." Cole raced over and grabbed the suitcase from my hands. We jumped into the car and began our long, painful drive.

It had been three hours of chasing white lines, it was the most boring drive I've ever witnessed. "Maybe we should turned on some music." Cole inserted a heavy metal CD of his into the car.

"Cole you know I hate heavy metal, please don't..." Cole ignored my request and began singing loudly as he pump the music. All of a sudden Cole began head banging and yelling 'whoooo', "Cole! Stop keep your eyes on the road please!" Cole again ignored me, "Cole!" I called as a car honked their horn at us, I grabbed the wheel and swirved back onto our side of the road again. "Cole oh my god we almost crashed into that car!"

"Damn! Lucky you took the wheel," Cole giggled.

"Pull over now! Your so immature!"

"Woah Alexia chill it's ok."

"Pull over Cole!"

Cole drove over to a rest stop, which we were lucky was there, "why are you so mad Alexia?" Cole and I got out of the car.

"Why am I so mad, because I told you to keep an eye on the road and you didn't, we would've crashed if I hadn't took the wheel! And your treating it like a joke..." Cole came to the realisation that he had failed his job of responsible driving. "Can we just drive to Dylan's without almost crashing please?.."

Cole nodded back as he took the wheel again. The rest of the car drive was silent as there was a lot of tension floating around in the car...
