Jahria Henderson was your normal 14 year old. She was beginning her first year of high school. She looked forward to a new direction in life. She looked forward to making new friends, and going to parties. She looked forward to seeing new faces, and possibly finding love.
Ria walked the halls shyly as she observed her new area of learning. She watched the hallway divide. The gangsters, the loud mouths, the bougie, and so much more. She learned that high school is about division. She didn't know where she would fit in, but she prayed it was in the best area possible.
Weeks went by, so did the months. Ria stood at her locker with the 'bougie crew'. This is where she belong, or so she tried to. The crew would often skip class, have the best gangster boyfriends, the best outfits. Ria loved their style, and she would do anything to keep them by her side.
"Ria! Gurl, Carson eyeballing you bitch!" Trinity squealed.
Trinity, Moesha, Jahria, Katlin, and Patrica made up the bougie crew. The girls are never lacking. You always see them together, even outside of school. Jahria adored the girls. She was excited to be surrounded by vibes like their.
"I doubt it sis. He likes Moe. Not me. I'm just the outcast and the newbie."
"Nah. He don't like me. We just friends. His brother is my man though." Moe smirked.
Carson and Jahria locked eyes for a quick 2 minutes. Shy smiles enter both of their faces. Ria walked out of Carson's eye sight with his crew. He was extremely cute to Ria, and always have been. She adored the boy braces. She loved his style. She loved how he rock his gold chain. She loved his medium brown skin. It was high key that she had the hots for Carson.
"So, where we sitting for lunch?" Trin questioned.
The girls walked next to each other looking like models. 26 inch hair, stylish tops, neat brows, long eyelashes, even pretty acrylic nails. The girls were always gaining attention, and never in a negative way.
"Yo RIA!"
Jahria begin looking for the voice who called her.
"RIA!"
"I think Mr.Hunka Hunka wants you sis." Patrica smirked while pointing.
"Go to him girl now!" Katlin pushed Ria towards the table.
Jahria eyes laid on Carson as the table full of boys motioned for the girls to come along. Her palms grew nervous. She was a pretty girl that never fully gave a dude her attention. Let along a Sophomore in high school.
"Aye ma. What's good with you?" Carson spoke.
Ria had his undivided attention. He turned his back on the whole table just to get Jahria. Ria never had a hood nigga treat her like royalty.
"Nothing much. I'm just trying to find somewhere to sit with my girls." Ria shrugged.
"Coo. Coo. You pretty babygirl. How about you put ya number in my phone? I'm not on no fucking type shit. I wanna get to know ya ma. Maybe I could spoil you and shit." Carson smiled while holding out the phone.
Jahria shyly smiled and took the phone. She placed her info into the phone while keeping her eyes off his. She was nervous. His voice makes her hot.
"Alright. That's everything. Social media too. I better go. This lunch ain't bout to fill me up itself." Jahria nodded.
She walked away feeling eyes on her intensely. Her girls were giggling and geeking over Carson's game. He spoke it well. Jahria know it was the start of something new. She was happy about the way school was kicking off for her. Jahria earned a decent group of trustworthy friends, and hopefully a new happy place with Carson himself.
