"And that's how Ryan died"
Tyler pouted as Pete ended the story. Patrick was walking a few steps in front of them, but he probably heard the entire story that Tyler believed was carved into his brain as a painful memory.
Tyler was not angry with Patrick for the attack, he couldn't blame Patrick's non-ability to remain stable. It was obviously stronger than Patrick.
Tyler was happy to know the fact Patrick and Brendon were still good frens. They both still carry pain, but at least Brendon doesn't blame Patrick.
"Y'know, Patrick hates himself" Pete said, making Tyler's head rise to eye him quickly "I can't get him to understand it's not his fault"
"But it's really not his fault" Tyler talked more to himself than as a response to Pete's words "He can't help it"
Pete sighed "Wait up, Patty"
Patrick stopped walking and only looked at the two with the corner of his eye. Tyler and Pete reached his side and the three proceeded to walk. There was silence between the three from that moment on, but they actually appreciated the silence.
...
Andy looked around himself and realized he was in his bedroom.
"Andy! Andy! Open the door, mister!"
He rolled his eyes at the sound of his mother's voice, unlocking the lightbrown, wooden door. It was the only part of his room that he absolutely hated, because it broke the black&white aesthetic. He swung the door open, faking a smile for his mother.
"I come carrying good news and you got on my nerves already" Mrs Biersack shook her head as she pushed Andy slightly aside and entered the room. Andy took one long blink before shutting the door and crossing his arms on his chest.
"What do you want?" Andy didn't hate his mother or anything like that. He was just trying to be the cool, rebel kid. And his mother understood that; the understanding was the only reason why she tolerated his behavior.
"First of all, I'd like to know why do you lock your door?" Mrs Biersack rose an eyebrow, actually knowing she won't get an explanation.
Andy pushed both his lips between his teeth and looked away. He waited for whatever "good news" his mother had to announce, even though he believed it was only something stupid such as buying a new blender for the kitchen. He really, really doesn't care about those house appliances stuff, but his mother almost always had the need to inform him.
"To the good news, I presume" Andy's mother sighed, looking around her son's room. It was incredibly tidy, it looked better than the rest of the house actually. She never understood how could a reckless boy such as Andy have the neatest room her eyes have ever seen.
Andy returned his gaze to meet hers and curled his lips into an almost iconic smile.
"Keep in mind that I've spent a lot of money on this" Mrs Biersack warned, taking a thick envelope out of her pocket.
Andy's brows now furrowed. Was he getting something? He already got his allowance for the month, and money doesn't usually come in envelopes when it comes to his allowance.
