"B- But that's impossible! I said I liked you, not that I loved you!" Tyler shouted, dropping the mirror to the floor and making random panicking movements. He pulled his hair, quick to check on his teeth. His fangs weren't there.

"Look, there's more to it-"

"You should've told me!" Tyler protested, getting closer to Josh and almost spitting in the older boy's face "I'm a vampire! If you know something about me that I don't know, you should tell me everything! Everything, Josh, everything!"

"Calm down, Tyl-"

"No, I'm not gonna calm down!" Tyler continued, making Josh somewhat uncomfortable "I was our only defense and now I'm just as human as you! We've ruined our best chonce of survival, all because you forgot to tell me something about my own nature!"

"Tyler" Josh growled, having enough of this "You're gonna shut your pretty little mouth and walk with me. With this noise, I'm surprised they haven't already found us. I'll tell you all I know, but we have to move"

"I've got two, Jim!"

Josh cursed under his breath, looking to his right to see the uniformed man.

Tyler was so filled up with adrenaline, he just turned around and ran; besides, that was what Josh told him to do. But how he ran...

He ran like a vampire; faster than the wind.

He didn't want to think about it now, you shouldn't think about anything while running. He looked over his shoulder as he ran, worried about Josh. But, Josh isn't a supernatural being. They probably won't even want to capture Josh. He's unimportant to them. They just want Tyler, and Brendon, and Patrick, and Andy; perhaps even Pete.

He wasn't sure where he currently was, having his eyes only searching for a bush he can hide inside. He completely ignored everything around his. At last, his eyes caught sight of a large bush of flowers. He jumped straight into it.

He kneeled in there for quite a while; ten minutes later, he was sure nobody was going to find him anytime soon. He relaxed, sitting down on the dirt.

He ran his fingertips over the soft petals of the colorful flowers. You could find every shade of the rainbow's colors in that bush. Such extraordinary flowers, shapes and sizes Tyler's never even heard of. The dirt which they grew out of was dry, but the flowers were more than healthy. Tyler frowned at that, touching the dirt and trying to find a wet spot. This couldn't have been nature's work - he's probably in somebody's garden. But why don't they water their plants, their beautiful flowers?

He moved a few flower aside, trying to push through the bush. Instead of meeting with a sight of a house of the rest of a garden, he saw a stone.

A gravestone.

He read the words in a whisper "Here lies George Ryan Ross III"

He gasped quietly, wanting to touch the stone for some reason. And he did, he ran his palm over the warm stone and the words on it. He wished he had known Ryan.

Then, he realized these were the flowers the guys once talked to him about. They said Ryan lives on in those flowers. They said a bush of beautiful flowers lived on Ryan's grave, whatever the weather; "Ryan's flowers never gave a damn about the weather" Brendon would say.

Seasons changed, but the flowers didn't.

With the respect Tyler had for the deceased boy, he made a cross on him and whispered a short prayer for Ryan. Still holding his palms together, he silently spoke "Ryan, if you can hear me, please help us. Pray for us. We've got ourselves in tons of sh- stuff. B- Brendon thinks and talks about you all the time"

He just spoke random nonsense, desperate to get a normal life in which he isn't running and hiding from men with rifle and worrying about his frens. Of course, he knew a dead man won't help him. But that's what being desperate is.

His phone vibrated in his pocket. He took it out and saw Josh's name on the screen. He may or may not have put a pink heart emoji next to Josh's name, but whatever. He answered the call "Hello?"

"Tyler, where are you?"

"I'm safe, don't worry" Tyler decided against telling Josh where he is exactly "Where are you?"

"I'm walking through the forest" Josh answered simply, as if nothing happened.

"They didn't get you?"

Josh laughed a little "Nah, they're idiots. I started to whine about a big scary vampire scaring the hell out of me and how they're doing nothing to save me. They told me to go home, that there's no such thing as supernatural beings. Y'know, they wanted to get me off their back as soon as possible"

Tyler chuckled "Awesome. That's sick"

"Yeah" Josh said through a chuckle "Meet you by the oak? I'll tell you more about vampires"

"Sure, I'll see you there" Tyler pocketed his phone, sighing. He stood up, staring at Ryan's name on the gravestone. He didn't want to die. He wanted to be happy.
