"Brendon, I'm begging you, do you not see me begging you?"

Brendon was panting, letting his head drop down from exhaustion. Dallon was standing in front of him still, arms crossed on his chest. Andy was holding him tight from behind. But he was not going to give up.

Or was he?

"Do you want to talk?" Dallon proposed, spreading his hand out in front of Brendon's angry face. Brendon rose his head to give Dallon a death glare.

"Let me go"

"No, Brendon"

"Tell Andy to let me go, Dallon" Brendon spat.

"Brend-"

"Tell him, you idiot!"

"Bre-"

"I hate you Dallon!"

"Well, I love you!"

"If you love me, let me go!"

Dallon's arms dropped to his sides and his mouth opened slightly agape. His breath trembled as he stared into Brendon's glowing eyes, not able to form a response. He was slowly starting to be aware of the words that came out of his mouth by accident.

"Hey, Brendon?" Andy spoke for the first time that night. Brendon only growled at him in reply.

But that only made Andy chuckle "Who was the reason Patrick transformed in the first place?"

Dallon gasped quietly, going to tell Andy to stop. But Andy shushed him with a smirk.

"Huh, Brenny?" Andy continued, tightening his hold of Brendon's body "Who's the real reason little Ryro is now dead?"

Brendon slowly started changing back into his human self, sobbing quietly. He lowered his head again, pants were completely replaced with sobs. He stopped resisting Andy's hold. Soon enough, he was fully human and Dallon noticed the tears on his face.

"Oh, Brendon" Dallon cupped the crying boy's face and rose it "It's not your fault, okay? It's nobody's fault"

After a long moment, Brendon actually nodded in agreement.

"Run! Run" Josh shouted loudly, running hand in hand with Tyler toward the boys. The people who wanted to hold the ritual were long gone; thankfully. Panic was clearly visible on Josh's face and hearable in his voice. Only thing you could read off Tyler's face was confusion and the amount of alertness Josh had brought upon him.

Josh's next words though, had everybody alerted enough to choke on their own gasps "It's them! Run! They've found us! It's them!"

By the time Josh and Tyler were stood beside Brendon, Dallon and Andy, the men were coming into the clearing. Dallon looked over Josh's shoulder in terror. Josh swore under his breath, looking over at the armed men as well.

"Andy, I'm alright" Brendon whispered "I promise, I'm alright, let me go"

Andy was hesitant, but let he let Brendon go.

Brendon then turned back into a demon.

"Why'd you let him go?!" Josh shouted angrily "What's wrong with you?! We don't need to worry about two things right now!

Brendon spread his wings and pushed himself off he ground, he let his hand out toward Dallon "C'mon, I'll fly you out of here"

Dallon smiled up at him, as if they were in no danger at the moment. Taking Brendon's hand, he was in the air too. Demon Brendon was very strong, that was good. Brendon offered his hand to Andy too, but Andy wasn't there. He left already.

"Coward" Brendon said under his breath, actually very happy Andy ran for safety.

Pete separated the hug he was holding Patrick protectively in. He cupped his boyfren's face "Hey, hey, Patty? Baby? Can you transform now? It'd be of much help"

Patrick, who was still crying, shook his head and buried in into Pete's shoulder again, wrapping his arms around Pete's thin frame.

"Patty, we don't have time for this, babe" Pete separated the hug again "Bad men are here, we need to run"

Patrick sniffled, nodding.

"Brendon!" Pete called, glancing at the uniformed men who were seconds away from attacking, probably too amused by the teens to actually start their work right away "Bren, please, can you take Patrick with you?"

Brendon sighed. He looked at the two boys for a moment. He nodded, flying over to them and giving Patrick his hand. Patrick was hesitant at first, incredibly scared and still in pain, but he took the demon's hand. Brendon nodded at Pete one last time before flying off.

"Did you take pictures?! Did you?!" one of the men shouted at the other "I need to show them to boss! A new child!"

"New?" a man from the end of their row snorted "That looks like the creature that burnt down out building a few years back"

The first man gasped "Oh my, you're right"

"Leave us alone, idiots!" Pete came close to Tyler and Josh, yelling at the armed men.

"Pete" Josh whispered carefully "I don't think that's very smart"

"Mind your own freaking business!" Pete continued, pretending to not have heard Josh's words "We have homework to do!"

Tyler was the only person paying attention at that moment. And that's how he was the only person that noticed a large net being thrown at them. His eyes widened and he grabbed a handful of Josh's shirt. In his supernatural speed, he ran a few feet backwards, dragging Josh with him.

But Pete was on the ground, underneath the net.
