Winning: A Team Crafted Fanfic

Chapter 5

Kayla's Pov.

I was placed in an arena and there were a couple seconds where I couldn't move. I looked at the people around me, waiting for the match to begin. Round 1 was about to start, and it was going to be intense. As I waited I went in f5 mode to make sure my skin looked alright. I wasn't very confident with my looks, even if it was just in a game. I had designed my very own skin, unique only to me. It was a girl, looking similar to me. She had long, brown, wavy hair. The eyes were an emerald green. I was wearing a simple purple one sleeve top with jeans as short shorts. The name Klove12 hovered above.

Finally I heard the count down begin. The game will start in 5...4...3...2...1... *Bang* I heard a cannon go off. My fingers filled with electricity as I sniped everyone around me. I walked a few paces and saw a nametag off in the distance. I headed for it and peeked around the corner of a building. The player, DerpyCow123, saw me coming. As I jumped around the corner, bow ready to fire I was shot in the face. I looked at chat to see that he had shot me. I slammed my hand on the desk and respawned. I was currently in 3rd place. Only the 1st and 2nd place winners went on to the next round.

I saw my next victim, an unsuspecting robot creeper. I charged my arrow and waited for the perfect moment to let it fly. He jumped to the left a bit. "Easy..." I told myself. I let go of right click and watched as it was a direct hit. I fist pumped the air and looked around me. I shot a couple people here and there, and I finally tied up with 2nd place. His name was xxHackerxx. Just then I saw him come into view. He charged his arrow and I charged mine. We both let go and watched as we shot at each other. I quickly jumped to the right and him to the left. All that was left was to use our swords. I scrolled to the sword in my inventory and ran at him. He did the same, but when we reached each other I circled around him. I hit him several times and he got me against a wall. I went into hardcore mode block-hitting him to get away from the wall. I jumped around to the other side of him and killed him with one final blow. As I took the 2nd place spot the game ended. Not bad for a warm-up round if I do say so myself.

Hey guys! Sorry for the short chapter, but as it is finally spring break I'm a little busy. On Wednesday I am going to Washington, D.C. with my 8th grade class, including my best friend Melina. Shoutout to Melina's story Drowning: A Team Crafted Fanfic! Before Wednesday I am going to try and get in as many chapters as I can. Hopefully while we are on the bus I'll be able to type up a couple chapters for you guys! I love you all<3
