I would like to just preface this chapter by saying, yes I am back! It has been a bit longer than expected and I really shouldn't make excuses, but here you go. Excuse: We are having a lot of final projects and tests in school recently as we finish the year, so I haven't been able to update. I feel so mean for leaving you guys off on a cliff hanger too, but you'll have to live with it. Just kidding, I'm sorry! On with the chapter!

Harry's Pov.

Finally! Our plan worked. Now we have Kayla in our clutches and London wishing to save her. We all watched as London ran out of the mall, trying to catch up with us. She was too late though, because we were already driving away.

I saw her slump to the ground in defeat. I shared a victory cheer with my group of friends and we fist pumped the air. Now we just had to wait for her to find us.

~Several hours before~

I gripped the iron bars, squeezing them until my hands lost feeling. How long were they going to take?

As if on queue, Mark appeared at the small iron barred window. In his hand he held his father's saw, very sharp, and used to punish those who don't obey. Mark's father tortured people as a hobby, but only the people whom he hated. I was extremely glad I wasn't on that list.

Mark began sliding the saw back and forth against one of the iron bars.

After several minutes the final bar broke off. I smiled as he grabbed my hand and pulled me out, but that was only step one. We still had the more difficult part ahead of us.

We sprinted around corners, making sure not to be seen by any guards or cameras. Mark sprinted from one wall to the other and I followed. He knew the route, having been shown by his father many times.

Finally I could see the opening in the fence, a large mechanical gate. Sean had volunteered to distract the gate guard for us.

I watched as Sean threw a glass bottle at one of the walls by the gate. The guard turned to see what had made the shattering sound, and as he did Sean put the guard in a headlock. He grabbed the guard's gun and choked him until he passed out.

Sean gave us a thumbs up as he pressed a button and the mechanical gate came to life. It slowly slid open and we sprinted through. Sean would meet up with us later.

~Present time~

"How do you know this is going to work?"

"It will okay!"

"If you say so..."

"Just keep quiet and out of sight. Wait for Kayla to go up for her food."

"How do you know she will go up alone?"

"I know her, she will."

Just on queue Kayla stood up from her seat. She walked over to one of the restaurants lining the walls and stood in line.

"Okay, go!"

We each casually walked over to the line pretending like it was a normal day.

I looked over to my friend Mark and nodded. He gave me a thumbs up and Sean punched Kayla in the side of her skull. I saw Adam wince a bit, but it was barely noticeable.

Yes, that's right. Adam is working with us. He told us about Kayla and London's plans of going to the mall this weekend. He never liked them, and he never will. He is on our side, not theirs.

Mitch's Pov.

I watched in horror as Kayla and her kidnappers sped away. At least I had gotten their license plate number.

I felt a bit of an emptiness without Kayla at my side. We had grown even closer as friends, but I didn't want to be her friend. I wanted to be more.

Yes, I am playing that best friend role and pretending I don't like her, but in reality I do. Honestly, I love Kayla with all my heart. She is the most beautiful, energetic, loveable girl I have ever met. Now she was gone and I was standing there helplessly.

I put my head in my hands, while rubbing my eyes trying not to cry. We will find her. We have to.

I lifted my head and saw London on the concrete crying her eyes out. She must feel terrible.

I walk over to her and put my hand on her shoulder, startling her a bit. "It's okay, it's just Mitch," I assured her. She looked up and gave me a fake smile with tears in her eyes, "This is all my fault." I gave her a sympathetic smile, "Now, don't go blaming yourself. It isn't your fault." She screamed, startling me, "YES IT IS! HARRY WANTS REVENGE ON ME, NOT HER! KAYLA IS JUST ANOTHER PAWN IN HIS GAME! NOW I HAVE TO SAVE HER AND GIVE MYSELF UP TO HIM." "What do you mean?" I asked in a quiet voice. She replied quickly, "I MEAN THAT HARRY KIDNAPPED KAYLA SO THAT HE CAN GET TO ME. THIS IS ALL A PLAN TO GET REVENGE ON ME FOR JOEL!" That brought up another question, "Who's Joel?" She put her head in her hands and tears formed in her eyes. I brushed them away and said, "You don't have to tell me, it's alright." She stood up abruptly, "No, you need to know." After a short pause for breath she continued, "Joel was my best friend. I discovered that he loved me, but I didn't like him like that. I strictly thought of him as only a best friend. I guess that upset Joel greatly and he... he killed himself. Harry hated me every day after that." I stared in awe, but quickly clamped my mouth shut. I gave her a hug, "I am so sorry London. You didn't know Joel would do that, you know that right?" She nodded her head, but I knew she didn't believe it herself. She kept blaming herself.

Hey, how are you guys doing! Just thought I would pop in here and say hello! Things are heating up in these chapters, huh. Anyways, have a wonderful day loves! Baiiii!

P.S. Anyone else excited for The Fault In Our Stars coming out Friday? Melina we NEED to see it!
