Kayla's Pov.

The last few school days were just a blur. I talked with London, Lacy, and Peter 24/7. There were a few times when I thought Harry was going to try and start trouble, but London was always right there for me. She had been through hell and back several times with Harry. He used to bully her all the time. One day London finally stood up for herself, and Harry became afraid of her. She ended up pushing him into the lockers, because he wouldn't stop calling her names.

Now London stood at my side to make sure that Harry wouldn't try anything. I had told each of my friends about how Mitch saved me from Harry.

Lacy finally asked the question that I was afraid of. She asked me, "Where's Adam?" I just looked at her with sorrowful eyes and she immediately hugged me, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. You don't have to tell me." "No, I want to tell you... I just don't know if I can," I said sadly. "Hand me your phone," London demanded. I gave her a skeptical look, but slowly handed her my phone. She found Adam's name in my phone and called it.

"Adam. What. Did. You. Say. To. Kayla," London demanded. I couldn't hear his response, but he was probably angry. London's face tensed up as she yelled back at him, "Adam, you better apologize to her right now." She handed the phone to me and huffed in rage. "Hello?" I asked as my voice cracked a bit. "Kayla? Are you alright? I'm sorry I kind of blew you off..." Adam sighed. "Why did you?" I asked. "It's a long story..." Adam trailed off. "I have time," I demanded. "Kayla... I can't do this with you right now. I can tell you later," Adam sighed. "Fine..." I sighed, wishing I knew what was wrong.
