It took two days to cross the sea to Rasea. Maira didn't come out of her room often. The illusion spell was still active, but she was afraid of it falling off at any moment. She would be recognized in an instant, and she didn't want to cause any unnecessary trouble for Logain and Casimir. Maira especially didn't want to cause any problems for the prince. He was the only mortal who was nice to her, and she now knew his secret.

Casimir, on the other hand, spent a lot of his time on deck. He was enjoying the open ocean. This was his first time being out at sea, so he didn't want to miss this opportunity to see what it was like. He wouldn't stay below deck like Maira and Logain. A few times, he tried to get them to join him, but they refused. Logain stayed in his room as well, but for other reasons. It turned out Logain got seasick.

The prince had the perfect remedy whenever he visited Logain. The warlock was usually lying down with his eyes closed when Casimir visited. Casimir noticed that Logain's sickness seemed to go away whenever the prince laid down with him. For whatever reason, holding him worked. It was the distraction Logain needed to feel better. Casimir took advantage of this opportunity, of course. Logain never denied him when Casimir wanted to be affectionate. Logain lost track of how many times he kissed the prince now. Each time they kissed, Casimir seemed to get more affectionate and passionate. Logain didn't think he could keep up.

When the ship stopped at Rasea's port, Logain was glad to finally be on land again, but he wasn't ready for the heat. Rasea was known for its vast desert as well as its port. The sun beating down was almost too much to bear as Logain tried to shield his eyes. This was why he lived in Ambria. Only his kingdom had the perfect weather that was suitable for him. It didn't help that his attire wasn't right for this weather. He could feel it already sticking to his skin.

The next step was finding a guide who could help them cross the sands. As much as Logain wanted to get out of this place, they couldn't be too hasty. Trying to traverse the sands without a guide and without the proper equipment would only get them in trouble. Logain wasn't about to let something happen to Casimir just because he wanted to get home.

The prince, though also affected by the heat, didn't seem to mind as much as Logain and Maira. He was just happy to be outside and in a kingdom he had never been to before. To him, anywhere was better than Ambria. After exploring and helping people in Cordea, the prince was in no rush to return home. He wanted this to last for a long time, but he knew how much Logain wanted to go home. Maybe he could stay with Logain in his home for a little while . . .

Casimir shook his head. Their relationship was only beginning, so there was no way Logain would let him stay at his house already. Maybe after a couple of dates and getting to know each other he could sleep over, but it was tempting to ask him now. Logain might agree. After all, they did make out a couple of times already. Casimir might test his luck once they were by themselves again. They still needed to get Maira to a safe place before that happened.

The prince noticed Logain struggling with the heat. He suggested, "Perhaps we should find some proper attire for this weather. Even after we find a guide, there's no guarantee we will be leaving Rasea soon. It all depends on when they're prepared to travel through the desert."

They would be spending some time in the desert kingdom, so they might as well make themselves comfortable. Casimir had plenty of coin on him to pay for whatever they needed. They could find clothes suitable for this heat and someplace to stay until it was time for them to leave.

Logain nodded, but then he blushed as he asked, "Aren't the clothes in Rasea . . . revealing?"

The prince chuckled. "This is my first time in the desert kingdom, so I'm not sure what the clothes are like. However, regardless of what you wear, I bet you'll look sexy."

Logain's face was burning up more now after the prince's words. That wasn't a word Logain would ever use to describe himself, but for some reason, he didn't mind hearing it from Casimir. It made his heart race, and he considered wearing Rasea's clothing just for him. The warlock bit his lips as he thought about what Casimir might do if he saw Logain in a scandalous outfit.

While the men talked to each other, they seemed to have forgotten all about Maira. The girl sighed and said, "Logain, what fantasy world are you living in? I'm not from The Four Kingdoms, but I at least know that the people of Rasea dress modestly. They wear a thin layer of clothing covering most of their bodies to protect themselves from the desert sun. Only the sultan's harem wears revealing outfits, so get your mind out of the gutter."

He could feel his face burning as the girl put in her two cents. It was embarrassing that this young girl had to correct him when Logain had been around for much longer than her. Rasea wasn't a place he ever traveled to. While Logain had been to many places, he always avoided the desert. She was right, though. He was letting his imagination get to him instead of thinking logically.

Maira spoke up again, "If you boys are done thinking with your dicks, then shall we get going? You're not the only ones suffering from this excruciating heat."

She took the lead this time as she began to walk towards the city. Maira wanted to put some distance between herself and the ship that transported them to Rasea. She could feel her disguise starting to drop, and she didn't want to be around the people of Cordea when it happened. There was nothing they could do about it now, but she didn't want them reporting that she was alive. She would rather be forgotten by the people across the sea.

Casimir held his hand out for Logain. When the warlock took it, the prince gave him a gentle smile. They shouldn't waste any more time. They still had plenty of ways to go before they reached Ambria again.
