So I made this announcement last year (I know, it's been a while) that I would be rewriting this story. Well, it's finally time for me to get around to doing that! I wanted to finally post this when I felt prepared for this change. This was one of my first finished stories that I'm proud of, and hopefully, this rewrite will make me even more proud of what I accomplished.
The reason why I am rewriting this is because as the other stories in this series progress, it is becoming more in-depth than originally planned. Originally, this series was supposed to revolve around fairytales. However, as I kept writing the other books in this series, it lost that fairytale charm, and I began to build my own fantasy world without that fairytale influence. It was fun to reference fairytales at first, but I no longer want to reference those going forward with this series. Besides, with the changes I made in the other books, this one no longer makes sense with their storylines. A LOT has changed.
This book will reference events from Prince of Nightmares, so spoiler warning in case anyone had plans of checking that story out. The events of PoN take place before The Warlock.
