Chapter 11

Jade’s POV

I mentally gasp, then mentally frown. Why is he here? He doesn’t care! He showed me that when I caught him with that girl the apartment. I trust Graham more than I trust him now! I start to listen when I hear Dad speak. “And why in the world do you think you can be here right now?” he practically screams at Jason, and then I hear a bang. “WHY?” I hear Jason scream in return. “She is my girlfriend and I love her!” he yells. I mentally gasp, how dare him, saying that. “Oh you didn’t just say that crap.” I hear Mum growl. Dang, I’ve never heard Mum like that. As I hear more yelling, I try to open my eyes. I needed to set this straight, I needed them to listen. I pause when I hear a new voice. “I think you are not welcome here.” I hear Graham say in a cold, hostile voice. I then start to struggle again, desperately attempting to move my hand, open my eyes, or something. I then start to feel the struggle become easier, when my lids finally open. I blink, trying to be able to see. I then look around. Mum is being held back by dad, Jason in front of her. Graham was glaring at Jason, his hand holding mine. I squeeze his hand, desperately needing water. He looks up and gasps. I motion for water, and nods, still at a loss for words. As soon as I get water down my throat, I can finally speak. I clear my throat, causing everyone to swivel and face me. A grin breaks out on Mum’s face, and I smile back. I then open my mouth to speak. “You,” I say pointing to Graham, “Thank you.” He nods. “And you two,” I say pointing to Mum and Dad, “please quit yelling.” They also nod, tears in Mum’s eyes. “And finally, you.” I spat out, pointing at Jason. “Get. Out. Now.” I say, teeth gritted. Dad then not-so-nicely shoves him out, and then comes to hug me. Mum rushes out for a doctor. She comes back, a smile on her face, with another person I never thought I would see again. “Mindy!” I squeal, bouncing up and down. My nurse giggles, coming over. “I thought I would never see you again!” I say. The thirty something year old nurse laughs, “Same Jadiepoo! But, as soon as I saw your name, I switched with the other nurse.” She smiles. “Mindy had been my nurse after my first and second kidnapping a few years ago. She could always make me laugh, even in the worst situations. Take now for example, I was laughing my butt off over here! “Ok, now I gotta do a checkup for you, so quit making me laugh!” she playfully scolds me before going to check all my vitals. “Well, obviously you have improved, considering you are awake and all that, but it also looks like your stitches can be taken out soon!” she says. I then take a look at my body for the first time since waking. I had a blue and purple tie dyed cast on my leg, all the way up to the knee, and then some bruises on my arms. I looked at my stomach to see bruises and stitches on my side. “Why did I need stitches?” I ask. “You had a gash in your side from the road.” Mindy tells me. I nod, but then look around the room. There were teddy bears, letters, and even some flowers. “Who is all this from?” I gesture around, this questions pointed at Mum and Dad. “Well, the news kind of got out, so fans sent you stuff. You were out for two days, and they got worried.” Dad answers me, then looks at me. “How exactly did you get hit by that car? Did you just not look? What happened?” he asks. “Are the boys here?” I ask, ignoring his question. When he shakes his head, I gesture for him to call them. “Might as well tell you all at the same time.” I state, making it sound obvious. When they arrive, they all look at me expectantly.

“It was some Directioners.” I say, causing gasps from everyone in the room.
