Finally Known Love

Chapter 26

Jade's POV

"That's a take!" I jump in the air, Should've Said No is done! Music videos are so much fun to make. I start to go around, give all the dancers hugs and finally get to my director. "Thank you so much, you have been so much fun to work with." I tell him. He pulls me in for a gigantic hug, "Thank you- I'm gonna miss you little J, good luck on tour. I better have backstage passes for a show or two got it?" I nod, grinning ear to ear. I'm so excited for tour, it sounds like the best on yet. We have been going through choreography the past few days, which is what I have in say, about 2 minutes. It has been a blast, getting to know the crew and all my singers and dancers. This is definitely going to be something to remember for the rest of my life. The first show is in less than a week, and I can't wait! Get ready O2 Stadium, you won't know what hit you! I grab my bag and water bottle and head out, time for more dancing and singing!

"Here!" I shout as I walk into the venue we have been practicing in. It is full on show practice today. Outfits, lights, band, dances, everything. It will be a run through, making sure everything is ready. Then we have practice Wednesday and first show Friday! Thursday is a rest day, save my voice, (which means no talking!) and just lounge around. It sounds like luxury after this busy week.

I burst out laughing, Ben just did the splits, trying to be all cool. But he ended up just groaning in pain. I walk up to him and tap his shoulder. He turns around and I just easily slide into my left splits. He goes wide eyed and his jaw drops. "I lived in an orphanage for year, I had nothing better to do." I say simply, before rolling into my middle splits then right. I haven't stretched in a while and it felt really good. A nice change, I should stretch more often.

"Well that's it for today I guess!" my choreographer Daniel calls out. I go over and chug some water before hugging him. "See ya!" I wave before heading out. On the way to Mum and Dad's we stop at a gas station and I get a candy bar... what? I like my food okay? Anyways, we get to Mum's because I'm babysitting Abs. We pull up and I hop out. I go around the back, wanting to surprise them. I let myself in with the key, and ninja roll across the floor because ya know, I'm secretly a ninja. I hear Mum in the kitchen so I crawl behind the couch. I hear footsteps and I just try to be as small as possible. "Jade, honey what are you doing behind the couch in a ball?" Sighing I stand up to meet Dad's eyes. He just has a questioning look all over his face. I giggle, "Surprise!" I smile. He just pulls me into a hug. I then put a finger to my lips, and crouch back onto the floor. I slowly crawl back to the kitchen entrance. I look back to see Dad stifling a laugh. I peek, to see Mum with her back to me. Slowly crawling, I get right behind her. Standing up I whisper "Hi Mum". She jumps a gazillion feet in the air (probably only a foot but I exagerate a lot). She spins around, coming face to face to me. We both grin before embracing.

Soon they are gone, and it is only me and Abigail. She is getting so old now, she turns six in a few days. I feel like she was born just yesterday! I'm going to be 19 soon also. I feel like everything is just growing, changing. My career has shot off, I am about to be on tour for months, my baby sister will be in first grade, and I have had my first major breakup. It is crazy. I used to be such a little girl, just praying someone would be kind enough to come adopt me, and look at me now. It is hard to belive it is even the same person. My story has been complicated, but it turned out right in the end. It shows that hardships can turn to greatness, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

AN: RED ALERT RED ALERT. RACHAEL HAS ACTUALLY POSTED A CHAPTER. I got in the writing mood at 10:30 last night and started a chapter, and so here it is less than 24 hours later.

Sadly, I will be ending it soon. I just don't have much time to write between cheer and... cheer. I will be posting maybe one or two more chapters and an epilogue. Love you guys, hope to write again soon:)
