Lost and Found

Chapter 6 New Friend

Jack took me all round my kingdom, through the village where the subjects live. Jack also said that we could go to neighboring kingdoms like Allora where Lavender lives, each of the kingdoms have certain fairies with gifts, earth fairies are from Terravale, fire fairies are from Ashengrim, nature fairies are from Luonto, animal fairies from Wanyama, air fairies are from Azure Highlands, poison fairies are from Harrowsbane. Just to name a few there are more but Jack said that he would tell me later. They didn't know what I looked like since I aged quite a bit on earth, I don't know what I looked like back then but I could have changed you never know, I could have had red hair for all I know. We walk around observing the townsfolk, I see a young fairy picking some flowers she stands up and runs right into me, I loose my balance a little but she takes a few large steps back and fell down.

"Oh are you alright." I asked reaching out my hand to help her up.

"I..I..I'm sorry...please don't tell." The little fairy begged.

"Why would I tell, it was just an accident, no harm done." I said crouching down.

"But aren't you the lost princess." She said with a sniffle. I paused for a minute shocked that she knew who I was.

"Um yes I am but what does that have to do with what just happened." I said.

"I would be locked up and I would never see my family again." The little fairy said with tears forming in her eyes as she started to cry.

"Calm down sweetheart nothing is going to happen to you, it's going to be alright." I said grabbing her and giving her a hug to try to calm her down.

"So you aren't gonna tell on me?" She asked with sad wide eyes.

"Of course not." I said smiling at her. She immediately grew a smile on her face and started jumping up and down. I stood up and looked over at Jack just smiling at me, I smiled back and started to blush.

"My name is Bloom, what is yours?" Bloom asked.

"I'm Echo." I answered.

"That's a pretty name." She said happily.

"Thank you, yours is pretty too." I said smiling at her.

"I want you to meet my family, I know you will like them and they will like you cause I like you." She said pulling my arm for me to follow her.

"I would love to meet your family." I said laughing. So Bloom squealed and dragged me to her home with Jack softly laughing behind me. We came to a little house that was built in an old stump, there were little circle windows on either side of the door. There was lady fairy out in the garden picking some flowers when she looked up and saw us walking to her with Bloom, she slowly got up and flew over to us with a worried look on her face.  

"Bloom where have you been, your father and I have been worried sick." She said giving Bloom a big hug.

"Momma I met a princess today." Bloom told her mom excitedly.

"Oh did you now." Her mom said sarcastically.

"Ya and I got to bring her home." Bloom said looking back at me with a huge smile. Her mom looked over at me and then she realized who I.

"You must be the lost princess. Forgive me for not recognizing you." She said with a bow.

"It's alright, I'm used to not getting recognized." I reassured.

"How did you come upon the princess Bloom?" She asked her daughter.

"I accidently bumped into her and I thought that I was going to get in trouble but she was really nice so I brought her home. I like her alot." Bloom said smiling at me.
