Chapter 11 Forbidden

"You know Lavender will get over it." Jack said trying to make me feel better.

"Ya but she was right, I should have told her." I said sadly.

"Well there is nothing you can do about it now, just wait it will get better." Jack assured me. As we pass through the front door Elvena  is standing by a pillar waiting for us but the look on her face didn't look goo.

"Elvena did you find someone to help get the poison out of Echo?" Jack asked.

"I'm sorry princess I did not. I went to his house but he wasn't there. The place looked like he had left in a hurry so I left a note to come to the palace as soon as he returns." Elvena said.

"Can you think of anyone else?" Jack asked worried.

"There are a few other fairies I can think of but they live Venbane which is a seven day trip, by that time it will be too late." Elvena confessed.

"Well there has to be something you can do, anything." Jack said starting to panic.

"We can go to the library to see if there are any books about poison and how to cure it." Elvena instructed. So we all head to the library, when we open the doors I can't believe my eyes. I've never seen so many books in my life, the library was a huge dome with rows and rows of books. We split up and just start anywhere and grab a book after book trying to find something. I found a book about water powers and all the different forms of water you can control and what you can do with the water, this book might come in handy.

"How long have we been looking?" I asked exhausted.

"A few hours." Jack answered.

"Can we take a break?" I asked.

"Sure, I'll grab some water and some food, then we can keep looking." Jack said flying off.

"I love to read but who knew I would get sick of reading." I joked.

"I know it is exhausting but we can't waste anytime, this is serious and it will take awhile." Elvena said picking up another book.

"I know but my eyes feel they are going to fall out of my sockets." I said rubbing my eyes. I pick up another book and start when I hear the door creak open, I turn around to see Ivy, Venus, Nyx and Jenny.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked surprised.

"We found out you got poisoned and wanted to see how we could help." Nyx said.

"How did you find out?" I asked shocked because the only ones who know are Elvena and Jack and I told them not to tell.

"Well Ivy can sense poison." Jenny said softly.

"Really, can you get it out?" I asked rushing over to her hopeful she can cure me.

"Sorry, I'm not powerful enough yet, I still need some practise." Ivy said sadly.

"Oh well I do know how you can help." I said.

"Really, how?" Ivy asked.

"Start reading, the more eyes we have looking the faster we can find a book about poison." I encouraged.

"Alright." Ivy said and the five of us sit down and pick up books and bein to read. Jack is taking a while to bring food and water so I decide to go check on him to see if everything is alright. I open the door and almost fall back because Cole startles me by standing behind the door.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." Cole apologized.

"Oh its ok, I was a little tired but now I'm wide awake." I joked.
