Jack and I stand in the centre of the village waiting for others to join us. I see my dad and Gin so I wave them over to us.

"Any luck?" He asked.

"Actually yes. We met a few villagers and they are gathering up the rest of the village." I said and my dad looked at me surprised then smiled proudly.

"Well done, you are acting like a true queen." He complemented.

"Thanks. So the ones that we met they don't want another ruler, they want to live in Willore and leave all this behind. I said.

"I see." My father said.

"Dad there aren't that many of them, most of them are starving and have no family. Can't they come with us, they deserve to live freely." I stated.

"I understand that Echo but." My dad said but I didn't want him to say but so I spoke my mind.

"These people have been through a lot, Endora came to their home and took control. She made them live like this when she lived in the palace. She took their food so go hungry, she blocked the river so it's hard for them to get water. She made them fight in the war and sacrificed many lives of men and women. These people have done so much and how to they get repaid, with beatings and starvation." I paused. "I don't care what the other kings and queens say I am taking them to Willore because I am tired of people suffering from the hand of Endora. They deserve to live their lives the way they want and not having to worry if they will live the next day or who gets to eat today. Endora has ruined these people's lives for the last time." I demanded. My father just looked at me with a blank face, Gin was smiling and nodding and Jack was wide eyed beside me. I broke my gaze from my father to see about 50 people standing around us. Onyx stepped forward from the crowd and came up to me and smiled.

"Thank you." Onyx said softly and gave me a hug.

"For what?" I asked hugging her back.

"For caring. Not one person has shown that they care about us. We have been hoping that one day we could leave this place and live our lives someplace better. Even with Endora's rule no one has tried to help us escape, until you." She answered.

"Your welcome." I said.

"We will follow you." Onyx said bowing in front of me. Then all the other villagers bowed their heads, I even saw Orion bow. I looked around to see people who hated any type of royal bowing to me. I felt like I had actually made a difference in people's lives.

"Well done." Jack whispered to me grabbing my hand.

"Alright lets get everyone to the tree." My Dad announced and led everyone out of the village. We followed everyone to the tree as my dad helped people through.

"Hey." Orion said behind me

"Yes." I answered turning to face him.

"I know we got off on the wrong foot when we met, but I want you to know that I'm grateful that you're helping us out." He said.

"It's my job to help people." I said smiling.

"I know but I was a jerk and jumped to conclusions when I should have listened, I'm sorry." He apologized.

"You don't have to apologize, I understand how hard it is to trust new people. How do you think I felt when I found out that I was a princess in a different world?" I joked.

"Ya I guess that would be pretty hard to believe." He laughed.

"It was and I had to learn to accept it, it took a while but I finally accepted who I was." I said.
