I woke up early the next morning. Tony was still asleep and I had to peel him off of me softly not to wake him up.
I arrived in the kitchen as my mom was making breakfast.
"Hey honey." She turned to me. "Good morning."
"Yea, did you see the thing about Jeff?"
"Yes, what happened? Why isn't he home?" She questioned.
"His parents, uh, kicked him out. For being gay. But, can he stay with us? He only needs the rest of the year then he's going to college."
"Of course." I smiled.
"I'm going to wake up Tony." I said, walking back upstairs.
"Tony." I shook his arm. "Tony get up." He groaned.
"I'm up. I'm up." Just let me lay here for a few seconds.
I laid down next to him. "We need to do something about Jeff."
He snuggled with me. "Why don't we take him to a amusement park. You know, to get his mind off things."
"Yea. That sounds great. I'll go see if he wants to go." He ruffled my hair.
I walked over to the spare room, opening the door quietly to see that he was already awake.
"Hey.." I started. "Me and Tony were wondering if you wanted to go to a park with us?" He nodded, texting someone in between our conversation. "Who is that?"
"Miguel.."
"And?.."
"Is it okay for him to go with us?"
"Of course." He smiled.

I dragged Tony into a rollercoaster line. This one was my favorite. "Come on!" I pulled him up the ramp, catching up to the line. Jeff and Miguel said they would sit this one out.
"So Clay, what makes this ride so interesting?"
"I DON'T EVEN KNOW. It's like such a rush!" I jumped excitedly, wishing the line would go faster.

"Is the thing supposed to be this loose?" Tony asked, pulling up at the bar across him.
"It probably just needs to click one more time." I pushed on it, and it clicked.
"Maybe it was better before it was cutting off the circulation to my legs." I laughed.
"It's fine."
The attendants checked our straps and sent the car on its way. As we were climbing the hill I looked over at Tony, who was looking at the ground.
"You okay?"
"Me? Yea. I'm fine." I knew he was lying.
"Oh my god. The brave Tony Padilla is afraid of roller coasters!" I placed my hand next to his. "Would it make you feel better if you held my hand?"
He nodded. We free fell through the air. Tony screamed and I shouted holding my free hand up in the air. He had a death grip on me and the bar.
We arrived back in the station, I examined his now disheveled hair.
"Looks like you met your match."
"Yep."
I grabbed his hand and walked out of the ride to go meet Jeff and Miguel.
Sorry that I have been pretty inactive on here. I promise there will be a few more chapters left for this story. And just so you know, there will be a pretty big jump in time between this and the next chapter. I just think it would be unnecessary to go over months when nothing really happens. The next chapter will start the next November. A year after Hannah's death.
