We sit on a lounger, watching the sun set

We sit on a lounger, watching the sun set. I am cradled in his lap, his arms surround me. We talk about music, about family, about coping with recent tragedies. He holds me a little tighter.

I tell him about the new clothing line Brian and I are working on, the Asian tour dates and the final completions I am making to my fourth album.

"Thank you Malcolm."

"For what sweet Ari"

"For being here with me today and looking after me today and letting me have the time of my life."

"You are adorable, Ari. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else sweet sweet."

"Aw." I giggle.
We enjoy a comfortable silence. Listening to nature as the last light fades behind the mountains.

I breathe in the night air.
"Malcolm—"

"Yes Ari—"

"Can you do something for me."

"Of course."

"Can you... stay with me tonight. I -I don't want to sleep alone."

He presses a finger to my lips. "Sshhh. Babeee. I wouldn't dream of leaving you."

I flip over so that I am laying on top of his body, his arms tighten around my waist and he nuzzles me.

"Stop!" I laugh. "I am so so ticklish!"

"You are ticklish?" He asks.

"Yeah."

He suddenly lurches at me and attacks me with his hands. I wriggle and writhe under him laughing until I cry.

"Stttooop pleeeeeese."

He does, and I gasp for air.

"Sorry Ari."

"Babu your not sorry!" I hit him playfully.

He hums Beyoncé under his breathe and we fool around singing together.

"Look at the stars!" He exclaims.

"They are beautiful." My eyes widen as I stare up at the universe.

We sit quietly, lost in thoughts.

A not so innocent thought comes into my mind and I smirk. The glow of light from the house tells Mac this.

He stares at me inquisitively. I keep it to myself.

"What is it."

"Nothing." I giggle.

My eyes roam his body and he notices this. His eyes brighten.
