A/N: Hello readers this chapter is marked mature for a different reason. I have written it for an act of reconciliation for the tragedy that effected not just Manchester, but my country so badly.
I am always here to listen and talk.———
Malcolm's POVHalloween was perfect. I went to sleep with the most beautiful soul in my arms. Every time I look at her I see the rest of my life in front of my eyes.
Like every night. We make out a little and tell each other i love you's before we drift into dreamland.
Tonight, in the darkness, our fingers intertwine and she squeezes my hand a little.
Her honeysweet voice is barely a whisper.
"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. That's what I hope to give you forever."
I am overwhelmed by the beauty of her words.
In the darkness I snake my arms around her waist and draw her into my body protectively.
"I'm never letting anyone hurt you." I kiss her gently, in hailing her beautifuy toxic scent
"It's a quote." She tells me. "From the notebook."
"It's a beautiful quote." I kiss her once more. So happy to be the one to hold her.
I chuckle as a little snore surprised me.
"Goodnight sweet Ari." I hold her too me as I watch her beautiful face. And eventually fall asleep myself.
I am woken up later to her crying, shaking.
"Evil!!!" She screams. I let go off her in shock, afraid she is talking to me. Afraid that I have done something wrong.
"Baby—"
"Malcolm I need you." She weeps. "I need you now."
"I'm here for you."
"No, I mean I need you."
"Oh." I look at her she looks so upset it breaks my heart to see her like this.
I don't want to take advantage of her when she's emotional like this.
"No Ari. I love you. But i need to know what's wrong." I bring her into a tight hug.
"Okay." She coughs.
I kiss her forehead. "I'm listening. Tell me about your dream."
"My nightmare."
"Your nightmare."
She clears her throat and tells me everything:
————
It was a flashback Malcolm,A loud bang and silence.
Then screams.
I jump.
The screaming grows louder."My Mamma's! Out there!!!!"
Suddenly Victoria and Bia are in the room. There eyes are wide.
"My Mamma's out there!" I am too shocked to cry. My frost instinct is to run towards the screaming.
Victoria and Bia hold me back.
"I know Ari." Vic whispers in my ear. "But we need to hide."My latex gown is so tight I can't breathe. "Where's my phone." I whimper.
Bia hands it to me and we run. There is a large box where the stairs for "knew better" are kept when travelling. It's a box big enough for us to hide in.
