He whispers gently as he holds me closer under the sheets.
I kiss him in the darkness.
I'm afraid of the dark.
But Malcolm's touch makes me feel safe. His voice soothes me as he gently rhymes to me in the spaces between sleep and wake.
"Ariana." He whispers against my skin,
" I will love you when you're sleepy

I inhale gently.
"I want you to kiss me."
He takes my face in both hands.
I place my hand on the back of his neck and pull him forward to deepen our kiss.
Kissing him is like kissing the sky.
It's endless.
It's the air I breathe.
He kisses me until my lips are swollen, leaving little love bites on my neck, my chest, feeling Malcolm's warm and flushed skin under my fingertips as I run my hands over his body.
I let out little moans and gasps of breath whilst he kisses me deeper.
I cradle his face in my hands.
He's so beautiful and I don't understand how others don't see this.
He is fucking beautiful.
He is the one place of normality in my chaotic life.
He makes me whole when the world feels so empty.
I pout as his lips leave my body.
But I am so tired, I fall asleep against his chest.
I'm so... tired
But even in rest I can feel his fingers trace patterns against my back.
