Classes flew by, and by the time it was last period, the girls and I were already on the road to get our things from home-- I had my stuff in my car--and to Cassie's place. Her home is the biggest out of all of us-- Courts has a big family, so her place was never empty, Chris lived in an apartment building with her two brothers, my place is big, especially with the open woods, but it's also the furthest out, leaving Cassie's place the best spot to hang out.

I slowed down as I pulled into the driveway. No matter how many times I came over, I couldn't get over the exterior. The home is a dark brown color with an off white and tan trim. The front door was also off white, contrasting against the yellow gold rocks that were manipulated into a front porch and the steps. The roof is a dark brown color with an old red brick chimney resting on the left side. The white beams on the front porch had a lantern hanging in the center of the archway. The small patch of green grass encircling the porch made the home look warm and inviting. To the right of the house, there was a garage linking to the house, and to the right of that, a gate leading to the backyard.

Cassie had already unlocked the front door and wandered into her room by the time I decided to stop staring at her home. I closed the door and head upstairs. I walk into Cassie's peach and glitter gold bedroom and drop my duffle bag as I throw myself on her bed.

"HEY," Cassie smacks my ass, "Get off my bed! No street clothes! You know this!"

I can't help but smile at her, "Make an exception just this once. Your friend isn't feeling well."

Cassie glares at me, "Nope. Off."

I pout and climb off her bed, crawling over to Courts and Chris, who got comfortable on the two fuzzy black bean bags. I take a seat in the center of them, resting my head on Chris' lap.

Courts points to a pile of shopping bags, "Why so many bags? Are you changing your wardrobe or something?"

Cassie looks at the bags, mumbles something before she clears her throat, "I-I couldn't pick one so I bought them all..."

I give Courts and Chris a knowing look, this is going to take awhile. Cassie can be very indecisive when it comes to what to wear for parties, and we don't blame her, it's kind of hard to pick an outfit when you don't know who's going to be there: parents, cute guys, etc.-- and what kind of party it is-- getting shit faced drunk or adult game night. We get up from our spots, Chris turns on some music, Courts starts looking through Cassie's outfits, and I decide to get the snacks. We had about 8 hours to get Cassie to pick one outfit and Courts to finish everyone's makeup. Chris was probably going to search Camilla's, Cassie's sister, office for some liquor.

"Let the madness begin!" I yell as I return with boxes of gummy bears, chips, and soda.

** 7 hours and 55 minutes later **

After arguing with Cassie over all six-- yes, SIX-- outfits, two shots of dark liquor, and makeup completely done, we were finally ready! I look over the girls' outfits: Courts has on black high-waist shorts, a white spaghetti strapped crop top with a long red plaid cardigan and combat boots; Chris has on ripped jeans, a nice blouse, and ankle boots, and finally Cassie decided on a black halter top, a black and white plaid pair of high-waist shorts, and dark blue combat boots. I have on a red crop top, loose jeans with chunky ankle boots.

The girls and I head out, grabbing our phones, and heading for Cassie's car. I pull up the address and we head over with the radio blasting. As we get closer to the party, that feeling in my stomach comes back. I try to shake it off, taking deep breaths, but it gets worse the moment the car stops. I could hear the music blasting from the house, but we weren't going to get any closer since everyone parked on the front lawn. So many people, I thought as I try to push my nerves down.

"Sorry ladies," Cassie puts the car in park and removes her key, "Looks like we're walking up."

As we get out, I notice more people heading up to the massive house that was surrounded by trees. I link arms with Courts, feeling uneasy, and Chris does the same with Cassie.

"Breath, girl. Nothing is going to happen, besides you and Luke are probably going to be playing seven minutes in heaven for the rest of the night," Courts grins, trying to cheer me up, but only causing the nerves to come back tenfold.

As we approach the front door, I hear someone yell Cassie from the far corner. Cassie looks over and stops in her tracks, she mumbles something before dragging Chris inside the party. I eye the guy, a tall chocolate man with dreads, goes inside the house, after Cassie.

Courts and I grin to each other, "Ohh! Cassie!"
