AIDEN
The irony. Mika is Luke's mate and she meets him at school— the place she considers to be 'The Worst Place to Meet Guys'. I let out a chuckle once the image of Mika accidentally punching Luke in the jaw and Luke's inability to speak.
I am sitting in the living room waiting for Luke to return from his first night stalking Mika; I wanted to know what he learned. Staring blankly at the television, I didn't notice my twin little sisters, Heaven and Nevaeh, holding the hands of a teddy bear on both sides.
"Aidi," Heaven whispers.
"Yes, jellybean," I whisper back.
"There's something in the closet again," Nevaeh says brushing her hair out of her face.
"And I can't sleep when Nevaeh keeps waking me up," Heaven says, throwing her other half under the bus. Heaven makes sure that she doesn't sound like a baby, unlike her twin who loves being the baby.
I motion for them to come and they run and climb onto my lap. They get comfortable and we watch Disney channel until I hear two light snores. I head up the stairs and place both of them in their beds. I tuck them in and make sure they both had their favorite stuff animal resting under their arms. I head out of their room and close the door.
"You're such a sweetheart, Aidi," my older sister, Faith, pops out of nowhere.
"Aidi, its too cute!" my other older sister, Hope, states.
Faith and Hope are my older twin sisters. Mom and Dad had them young so we are about 6 years a part— 5 years with Luke. My parents were surprised when they found out they we having twins, the first time, and even more shocked when they heard about Heaven and Nevaeh.
"Haha, thanks," I shrug them off and head down the stairs but stop when I see Luke waltz through the front door.
An evil grin forms on my face, "Hey bro, you're home from stalking your mate already? I thought you'd at least sleep outside her window..."
Luke's eyes go wide as he glances behind me to find our sisters on the verge of complete girl meltdown. I try to hide my amusement but I break once I see Luke's body slump-- the girls are going to have a tennis game with him!
You're dead, Luke telepaths with a death glare towards me.
I just smile and head to the kitchen to get a drink. I can hear Hope and Faith jumping down the stairs and running up to Luke, smothering him with questions.
I knew the moment I met Mika that she wasn't my mate, so I wasn't pissed with finding out that she is Luke's, but I'm not going to lie, I wish she wasn't.
My brother is a cool kid, but he's not the emotional type. He's the type to push his past girlfriends away-- so he wouldn't have to breakup with them.
I shake my head, let's just hope he doesn't fuck it up this time.
My wolf gives me a mental shrug and I let out a sigh and head to my room with Luke's eyes burning holes in my back.
I'm seriously getting you back, Luke states.
Waitin' bro, I reply back as I close my room door. I close off my mind link and start playing music.

Hey, I know, I know, I'm late BUT I wanted to make sure this story was edited and had everything perfect before posting it. Photo above is the younger twins, Heaven (right) & Nevaeh (left). They are adorable. You will learn later why the family is mixed.
If you're reading any of my other stories on here, you would know that I made a promise to edit my whole story "Jackson Academy: Where I Lost My Heart". Since it looks like the story is going to reach the 200 mark that I wanted, I'm going to have to take a break from uploading. DOESN'T mean I'm going to put this story on hold.
ANYWAYS, hope you enjoyed New Friendships pt. 1 and leave comments (or VOTE)!
CHEERS LOVES!
