MIKA

Punch. Punch. DOWN. Punch. Punch. OW!

I hit the mat with a thud, and as quick as possible, I got back to my feet.

"Come on, MIKA! Where ya' head at?" Flex yells from the outside of the ring.

Currently, it's trying to keep from seeing stars, I thought, You know, smacking your head against the mat can do that, Flex.

I quickly get back up and take a deep breath and focus on my opponent. My opponent, Kim, is shuffling around me with her patted fists to either side of her face, waiting for an opening.

I watch her for a few seconds before I fake a punch towards her lower left ribcage. As expected, she reaches for my free hand. I quickly twist my wrist around her forearm and pull her so her arm ends up behind her back. I push her to the ground and watch her struggle for a few seconds before she taps out.

"COME. ON, MIKA! THAT'S A LEVEL ONE MOVE!" Flex shouts again, but I ignore him as I climb off of Kim. I walk around the mat and get ready for round three. Yes, three, I've been playing chicken for two hours now.

"I thought you wanted to spare, not play children's games," Kim teases as she rolls her neck.

FOCUS DAMNIT! It's bad enough you've been a level 5 for 8 months now. You can't unraval just because of some guy you JUST met. And how are you going to lose to a level 4, I thought as I walk up to Kim, smacking her palms to show that round three has begun.

Kim doesn't waste time and starts throwing aimless strong punches. I kick her side, once, twice, then I take hold of her left arm, using it as support until throw her down to the ground. I shuffle away and wait for her to get up, she gets up but has a look in her eye as if I poked the bear.

She comes running towards me but I simply take a step to the side. Kim, looking like I killed her puppy, pivots and tries to throw a kick to my lower back, but I dunked in time. I take that as a chance to throw a sweep kick. Kim hits the mat with a loud thud, I crawl on top of her and pin her arms down. Kim, having long legs, kicks me in the head with her foot, causing me to roll off of her. I try to blink back the tears that we forming in the corner of my eyes, as Kim jumps onto my back.

I grab hold her arms and let go of myself. As we fall to the ground, I repeatedly elbowed her in stomach. We hit the ground and I roll to the side, getting up quickly. Kim rocks side to side, attempting to stay on her feet. I deliver the final blow with a straight kick in her abdomen, knocking her down.

KO, I grin to myself as I remove my dark purple boxing gloves. I walk towards Kim, patting her cheek a few times before she opened her eyes. She looks around then grins up at me, "Thanks for the match, Fox."

I chuckle at the nickname, "Fox?"

Kim sits up and pulls her hands out of her gloves, "Yeah. I mean, you were playing games, tricks, for the first two rounds but out of nowhere you got serious. Plus, you have that look in your eyes that screams 'I'm helpless haha NOT!'"

I help Kim up, "Uhh...thanks?"

"Haha, I feel bad for the guy that's messing with your head," Kim states as she climbs out the ring.

I freeze, was it that obvious?

Kim lets out a laugh, "I'm sorry. The look on your face was priceless. I mean, I completely guessed but thanks for the confirmation."

I glare at Kim as I jump down from the side of the ring, "What are you? Like some old wise women in a twenty-two year old body?"

Kim gives me a fake shocked expression, "How'd you know? I thought I was fooling everyone!"
