"Hmm what do you think about these?" Delphi held up a black laced thong.

"For you or me?" I questioned.

"Haha both. It'll go along with that black laced bra we got a few months ago." she opened up the drawer and grabbed two thongs that were our size.

"Thanks for shopping at Victoria's Secret. Have a nice day!" the lady at the counter chirped as she handed us our bags and we started walking out.

"Oh thanks for paying Lucas." Delphi thanked.

"Yes thank you." I moved all of my shopping bags to one arm so I could hold my phone in the other.

"I'm pretty sure the movie is starting soon." Delphi pulled out her phone to check the time. "Yep we have 20 minutes. Good thing we paid for tickets beforehand."

We headed to the movie section and bought the essentials- sour patch watermelons, m&m's, and of course popcorn with a drink. I went off by myself to butter the popcorn (that sounds so wrong) while Lucas and Delphi fill up the drinks.

"Woah what are you doing here?" I turned around only to find Leo buttering his popcorn.

Okay that definitely sounds wrong.

"I'm with an old friend to see a movie? What are you doing here?" I looked around to find Ansley. "And I don't happen to see your girlfriend around."

"Chillax, I'm just watching a movie by myself." He put his hands up.

"What movie? Oh don't please say you're watch the Emoji Movie 2."

"Kid, I'm watching 5 Dead Boyfriends."

"Gruesome, yet sad."

"Yeah well I better get going now. See you later?" he began picking up his stuff.

"Oh sure." I took my popcorn and headed towards Delphi and Lucas when Leo walked away.

"Who was that?" Delphi asked.

"Oh just Leo." I answered. "And before you ask, he's in a relationship."

"Ugh always killing my mood." she pretended to stomp her foot on the ground like a young girl throwing a tantrum.

"He is a pretty cute boy though. Better go steal him before he gets married." Lucas appeared from behind her.

"What are you gay?" Delphi snorted.

"Haha no." he took a sip from his drink. "Now let's go watch this movie."

"That was a lot of fun. The movie kinda sucked, but it was fun." I beamed once we exited the theater.

"Nah, I don't really enjoy hearing Delphinia burp every 5 minutes." Lucas glared at his sister.

"Oh whatever." she rolled her eyes.

"Or how she kept adjusting her seat." he added.

My phone buzzed from my pocket and I pulled it out.

Unknown Number
meet me at Starbucks. quickly.

"I gotta go." I said to the siblings.

"Need a ride?" Lucas offered.

"Nah I'm fine. It's a pretty short walk." I threw away my drink and started heading out, only to be greeted by rain.

I walked down the white sidewalk as my hair became soaked, along with my top.

Whoever this person is, this better be good.

Once I made it to Starbucks, I opened the door and found the building pretty empty. There were only a few people sitting down while there was nobody in line, and there was only one employee.

I went up to the front counter to order a S'mores frappe, and then once it was made, Leo came out of the bathroom.

"Hey." I greeted as I took my drink and followed him to his table.

"Hey. Thank you so much for coming." he took a seat at a table with only two seats.

"So how was the movie?" I asked.

"About that..." he murmured. "Yeah let's just say once I walked in, I caught Ansley making out with someone from the rival school."

"Oh no, from Cinnamon High?" I felt horrible for him.

"Yep." he looked down at his hands.

"Are you positive it was Ansley?" I questioned.

"I'm pretty sure I know what she looks like."

"Weren't you two just making out last night at Candice's party?"

"Yeah... ugh." he muttered.

"Leo, I'm so so sorry. I feel so bad for you. Is there anything I can do?" I watched as his eyes became puffy and his hair drooped down, nearly covering them.

"Probably not." he spoke.

"Gosh Leo." I stood up and bent over the table to hug him.

"I thought it was a great relationship. I thought everything was just right between us." he stood up and cried into my shoulder. "I should've known."

"What do you mean?" I pulled out of the hug to look at him.

"Last week, she asked me if I was ready to do it and I said no." Tears streamed down his cheek. "I just was too afraid. I didn't want to mess up for her. I wanted her first time to be perfect, and I guess I'm always just too nervous."

I placed my hand on his cheek, and used my thumb to wipe away one of his tears.

"Maybe it just wasn't right. Maybe the relationship wasn't as good as you thought it was." I suggested.

"But Maeve, I love her." he pulled me back into a hug and I could feel his tears on my bare shoulder. "But did she love me? I thought she did."

"Oh my gosh is there anything I can do for you?"

"Well I'm not ready to see her again yet, considering we do live in an apartment together. Could I by any chance stay with you for the night?" his crying calmed.

"Of course! Anything really. My mom may be home, so I'll just have to sneak you." I replied.

"Thank you thank you thank you." he let go of the hug and we took our seats.

"I'll do anything for you." I took a sip of my drink.

For the next hour we sat and talked on and on about pointless topics and our lives- but of course I didn't tell him about Lily or my father.

Sometimes he would just break back down into tears and I watched in sympathy for him. I literally felt so bad about the whole situation.

I mean, how would you feel if you caught your girlfriend making out with someone after you turned down sex?
