"Maeve get the fuck up we're gonna be late!" Anthony swung open my bedroom door, causing me to jump and fall off my bed.

Every. Single. Time.

"Okay you're up. Now. Hurry up!" he slammed the door shut and I had to grab onto my bed so I could get myself up.

I really need to put a lock on my door.

I stumbled over to my closet and quickly decided on wearing black high waisted skinny jeans and a light grey crop top, but my stomach was hidden by my pants.

I decided to just throw my hair up into a quick bun and I grabbed my essentials- my phone, my earbuds, and my backpack- and rushed down the stairs.

I went into my closet and pulled out a chocolate chip muffin to eat on the way to school.

"Ready?" Anthony questioned as he was waiting by the door.

"Yep." he opened the door and we ran out and down the sidewalk to the bus stop, where we were picked up and off on our way to hell.

"Girl you look mighty fine!" Vanessa chirped once I got off the bus, my muffin in my mouth. She waits for me to get off the bus practically every morning.

"Thank you." I said uneasily, my mouth full.

"Come on." We walked into the building and to our lockers, which were not close to each other at all.

I dropped off an old text book that I wouldn't need until after lunch for chemistry, so I put it away, allowing the weight in my backpack to lessen.

"I'll see you in algebra!" Vanessa waved goodbye as we split directions. I headed to history, where I would be stuck with Owen and Leo.

Owen.

Maybe that could be the time for me to talk to him about Friday night, to see if he remembers anything.

I walked into history and took a seat in my usual spot, hooking my backpack over the seat and sitting down, waiting for class to start.

Owen and Leo walked in, and Owen took the seat right next to mine while Leo sat in front of me next to some random guy I didn't quite recognize.

"I'm handing out these papers for you to work on. You may work by yourself, or you can borrow help from your fellow peers." the teacher announced, beginning to hand out papers.

That's all we ever do in history. We just work on boring worksheets.

Once everybody in the class broke into conversation, I turned to Owen.

"Tell me what you remember from the party." I commanded.

"Wow don't interrogate me." he laughed nervously.

"I'm serious. What do you remember?" I asked.

"Look, don't tell Vanessa. I know she'll probably freak out because I remember this. But we fucked basically." he explained.

"Woah couldn't be any more straightforward?" Leo turned around, placing his paper on Owen's desk so he could continue writing.

"I knew it!" I squealed.

"Yeah don't get too excited because you're not telling anyone." he continued.
