Suddenly, Link ran into the guy, pushing him away from me and onto the ground.
"Run." he ordered, and Bradley ran in as another guy ran in, who was probably the guy's friend.
I stood in the front of the crowd and stopped to watch for a moment as Link slammed the guy against the locker, his back beginning to tense up.
I looked down and saw Bradley on top of some guy who was bigger than him, and then all of a sudden he got rolled over so the guy was on top of him, and back and forth.
I rushed out of there real quick and was greeted by Carson who was watching in the crowd.
"Hey hey come with me." he spoke calmingly, wrapping his arm around my shoulders and guiding me towards the next class- english.
I entered the classroom and took a seat in the back next to Carson.
"What the fuck happened back there?" I questioned, trying to catch my breath from panicking.
"I honestly don't know. Those guys don't go to this school though. They must've snuck in." he replied in a whisper.
"So you're saying that the guy trapping me doesn't even go here? What does he want?"
"I don't know. But I do recognize him from Candice's party."
"Do you think he goes to that Cinnamon High or something?"
"I believe so. What do they even want with us?"
My mind went back to my freshman year of high school here. I wasn't ever really involved in school, and I was never quite popular. However, I do remember we had an assembly once and people were cheering and we had a bunch of school pride stuff or whatever. I didn't pay attention though, since I had my earbuds in the whole time.
I think the only reason why I have these "friends" now is because some guy in their group just chose to have a "crush" on me at first sight.
I'm just going to stay away from Link. Besides, he's one of those guys. I already know that once he sleeps with me, he's probably gonna tell the whole school about how "easy" I am.
And I'm not putting up with that shit.
"Class, since today is Monday, we will be heading down to the library. You better all behave." the teacher announced.
Every Monday in English, we go down to the library just to do assignments on the computers or explore all the books. It's just a way for the teacher to get her own work done and correct papers since she didn't do it over the weekend.
The class walked down to the library which was on the main floor, and everybody split up. I brought Carson to a section in the library where nobody else went; the abandoned aisle.
I've known about this place for all my years at this school. Since I didn't have many friends, Delphi and I would always sneak into here to eat our lunches. It was a lot of fun, since the librarian lady couldn't hear us.
In this aisle was where the school kept all their records and documents. Carson took a seat on the floor at the end of the aisle as I searched for a book on the history of this school along with our rival.
I found a book and took a seat next to Carson, who was on his phone.
I looked through the table of contents and flipped to a page about the events occurring a few years ago, also known as my freshman year.
On April 1st, Butterscotch High decided to cause a little trouble with Cinnamon High. Their senior football team and cheerleaders broke into the school, and flipped every photograph upside down, removed all the toilet paper from the bathrooms and covered the entire school with it, and stuck their sticky notes everywhere. They vandalized their front sign, and carved 'Butterscotch' into the front lawn.
