WORKING WITH RITWIK

Sagar was furious. He had hoped Jiya would be at home sulking but she was enjoying her holidays with Nikhil. A plan was formulating in his mind but he needed to go to Dehradun first.

Nandita was going on a weeks kleave for her sisters wedding and now Sagar was not there so she asked Ritwik if Jiya could replace her for a week.

Ritwik agreed because Jiya seemed to be a decent girl since she had not entered the office after he had accused her of sleeping with his brother.
He asked Nandita to call her in the evening so by tomorrow she could learn and day after she would be able to work alone.

"Hello Jiya this is Nandita"

"Hi Nandita how are you?"

"I am fine but you have not come to the office for the past three days, any problems?"

"No. I was not well."

"Fine you come tomoorow . I have assigned a different duty for you for the next week."

Jiya was happy because she could avoid Sagar for a week and maybe if she was efficient enough she could continue working at the same post.

The next morning Jiya reported to Nandita on time. Nandita took her to Ritwiks's office. She was surprised to meet him.

"Nandita let me speak with Jiya. You may wait for her outside."

Now what did the great Ritwik Singhania have to speak to her after accusing her of seducing his brother?

"Jiya please have a seat. As you must know by now Nandita is on a weeks leave for her sister's wedding. She has recommended you as a replacement. I have no problem with you on a professional level. As for personal issues I am sure that you will not repeat what happened in the past."

"Sir You simply accused me of something I am not capable of. I agree that you saw me with your brother but it was he who initiated it," Jiya blushed while giving the explanation because it was a private matter."

"I am sorry that I spoke like that day but it was for your advantage as well because Sagar does not believe in relationships only in short term sex. Well just leave the topic. You can start working with me for a week and after that we can find some other post for you."

"Thanks Sir"

Ritwik was a workaholic just the opposite of Sagar. He reached office early in the morning at 8 AM and would work till late. However he asked Jiya to leave by 6 PM.

But she enjoyed this work because she was getting to learn new things. Just in two days time she had attended on board meeting and many customer meetings.

But the problem was her heart. She missed Sagar's smile, his easy going nature and the morning tea she had with him. Ritwik had his coffee before she arrived and he rarely took lunch. He was very goodlooking but Sagar was the one she missed. She couldn't understand her feelings. Maybe she was falling for Sagar but he was not right for her.

The third day morning when she picked the phone he heard the voice she was missing.

"Hello Ritwik Singhania's office?"

"Hello this is Sagar Singhania. Connect me to big brother."
Her heart was beating on hearing his office.

"Certainly sir.His line is busy. Can you hold sir?"

"Wait whose speaking? This is not Nandita. Is it Jiya?"

"Yes sir. Namndita is on leave so I am taking over?"

"Jiya you had quit. So why the sudden change of heart?"

"Nandita couldn't find a replacement at short notice so she asked me and I agreed. Ritwik sir's line is free so I am connecting you?

Sagar discussed his problem with Ritwik then casually remarked,"How come bro you are not in London?"

"The meeting got postponed for a week so I will be going next Monday?"

Sagar kept the phone down. He smelt something fishy. Was Ritwik after Jiya too?

Slowly a plan formed in his mind and he smiled to himself. It was now time to put his plan in action.
