NIKHIL'S MOM

  Nikhil's mom had come back from England . She had received the news that Nikhil was happily engaged to Jiya so she asked Nikhil to bring her for dinner .

When Nikhil conveyed this to Jiya she told him to tell his mother the truth.

Nikhil asked her to accompany him that day and then he would find the right time to speak the truth. At least for now he didn't want to disappoint her .

Jiya agreed and he picked her around 8 PM.

She was dressed in an orange organza sharara suit with golden earrings and orange lipstick looking lovely as usual.

Mrs Garg was a beautiful lady in her late fifties but she looked not a day older than fifty . She was wearing a beautiful silk trouser suit looking very elegant .

When she greeted Jiya there was warmth in her eyes and Jiya liked her instantly .

" Come here dear . Nikhil I totally approve of your choice. Jiya is the perfect girl for you . Tell me dear how did he convince you to marry him?"

"Don't ask her mom ask me ? I can't explain how I convinced her ?" Nikhil exclaimed.

Jiya liked his mom and she felt like a fraud trying deceive her.

"Jiya I really like you . You are like a daughter I have always wanted . Come dear lets enjoy dinner "

Dinner was delicious checken curry rice mixed vegetables and paneer labadar with raita .

Mrs Garg was a good conversationalist and Jiya thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Nikhil was very attentive to her needs . Again she regretted not loving him.

Jiya took leave of Mrs Garg " Dinner was lovely madam. You are a very nice lady and hope to see you soon"

" Jiya you can call me mom now and darling you are welcome here anytime "

Nikhil took her by her hand to drop her home when Sagar entered.

" Hello aunty "

" Hello beta what took you so long? I was waiting for you. I kust wanted to thank you for hiring Jiya so that this lovely girl entered my sons life "

Sagar had thought that maybe like Bindu Mrs Garg would also not approve of Jiya but she seemed to be quite impressed with her .


" Sagar I have asked Nikhil to get married as soon as possible. You are his friend so he will listen to you. Why don't you advise him?"

" Yes Nikhil Jiya and you should get married soon "

" Don't worry bro I am working towards it "

Jiya felt so humiliated. The person she loved was advising his friend to get married to her soon . It was as if he wanted to get rid of her as soon as possible.

" Darling lets go or you will be late "

Sagar eyes followed them walking hand in hand looking into each other with love filled eyes. Nikhil knew he was looking so he deliberately kissed her on her lips " My driver will drop you. Miss you darling"

Jiya kissed him back " Miss you too dear "
She wanted to show Sagar that she didn't care for him .

" Oh what a lovely couple . I hope they get married soon"

Sagar was already jealous seeing the two kissing each other and this remark further angered him.

" Ok aunty I had just come to visit you.Thanks will come again"

He left Sagar's house.
