By the time Sagar came in the evening the specialist had come . He did some tests and assured Sagsr that the problem didn't seem to be cancer but pneumonia.
He started some alternate therapy also for her father.
Sagar comforted Jiya with this news . Today he had brought Jiyas mother also along to visit her father . Together the three ate dinner and then he dropped them both yo the hospital.
The next day test results came and it was confirmed that Jiyas father had pneumonia which was easy to treat .
The specialist left in the evening after giving instructions to the local doctors.
The next few days they followed the same routine . Mother daughter would sit in the morning and during evening her mother would go and rest in the hotel . In the evening Sagar and Jiya would sit together while at night Sagar would remain at the hospital.
It was a full week and Sagar was there supporting them day and night .
Jiya had always loved him but this week had proven that she was in love with the right person.
Sagar was not selfish because he had looked after her family so well that Jiya was ready for anything.
Her father was discharged after eight days and Myra arrived the same day.
Sagar sent his driver to pick her from Jodhpur airport.
"Jiya may I ask what Sagar is doing here?"
"Myra he came to meet me because dad was not well"
" He must have an ulterior motive"
"No beta he has helped us through so much that maybe even my own son could not have done"
Sagar came to their house in the evening." Jiya I need to speak with you . I am leaving tomorrow . "

He is my best friend but I was ready to literally kill him because he had a right to touch you but I hadn't . I know you are engaged but please give us a chance give me a chance to prove my love for you .I promise you I will make you love me ."
There were tears in his eyes when he said all this.
" But darling I already love you. I have always loved only you never Nikhil . I broke my engagement with him before coming to Jaisalmer. "
" Darling will you let me court you . I know you are meant to be my wife . We will take it slowly . First we will go on dates and then get engaged "
" But. I don't want to wait . We will get engaged as soon as dad gets well."
" One more promise from me darling . I promise not to make love to you till we get married . It is a tall order but I am prepared to wait . This is because I have always told you that I want you so badly that my whole body aches . I will wait to prove my love for you . But for now I want a kiss '
It was a kiss full of love and devotion.
