  The next day Nikhil was absent from office and Jiya came to know that he had gone to London.

She knew she was the reason behind his absence.Around lunch time Nandita visited her.

"Jiya you don't seem well? Any problem dear?"

"None. Just not well"

"Nandita since Nikhil has gone for two weeks I was hoping I could take a week off since my father is not well and Myra my sister is leaving for an official trip tomorrow."

"I"ll speak with Ritwik and confirm you on phone. You leave right now and take rest"

Jiya received a call after half an hour that her leave had been accepted.

She packed her belongings for a week and went to the airport with Myra who was leaving for Singapore while she went to Jodhpur.

On reaching home she saw that her father was actually not well . He had fever for past two days. He seemed better that day but When the shivering started she rushed him to the hospital the next day. The doctors in the hospital informed her it was most probably pneumonia but it could be serious as cancer because he had started vomiting blood.

Jiya was stunned. Her father had been hale and hearty last time when she had visited him.

Her mother who was otherwise a strong lady collapsed and she was sent to the emergency where her blood pressure was found to be very high.

She was feeling lonely and helpless when someone touched her shoulder . It was Sagar .


Sagar had overheard Nandita asking Ritwik if Jiya could take the week off since her father was not well.


All his hopes of convincing Jiya in the absence of Nikhil had gone haywire.

When Nandita left he spoke with Ritwik " Ritwik I also need a week off?""

" Why would you want a week off?"

" Actually I feel very strongly for Jiya and I am sure she does as well. Since Nikhil is out of the picture this is the only time I have"

"But Jiya is engaged to Nikhil"

" I know that but I am sure she doesn't love him. I care for her a lot and I cannot live without her . I am not sure what I feel for her is love but I want her not only sexually but also mentally . I enjoy her company and I need her . She is like a drug I am addicted to . I can't bear the thought that someone else should touching her."

He went to his room to collect some personal items and found Cynthia in the lobby on moving out of the building ,

" To Jaisalmer  Jiyas father is not well. I am going to support her"

Sagar was furious and he slapped her," It is you who leaked the information you bitch . We have proof . I have called the police and they will be here soon"

Bindu was slso sitting in the lobby and she was shocked that Cynthia could bethe traitor.

" To get your daughter in law from Jaisalmer"

Then you had entered and misbehaved with her under the influence of the potion snd she had left the party in bad shape. But I was involved with Cynthia so I take full blame of the incident . Sagar had taken their private plane and reached Jodhpur the next evening going straight to the hospital after being informed that Jiya father was serious.
