THE JOURNEY BACK

  The journey back was uneventful. The entire journey Sagar didn't speak a word. He seemed to be busy on the phone. He was constantly calling someone.
Jiya was confused with his behaviour. What had happened to have abruptly changed his mood ? Who had been in the helicopter? Did it belong to The Singhania corporation? But then they would have left by it instead of calling another one. Had her behaviour changed his mood? Did he think that she had tried to seduce him?

But he had himself initiated the lovemaking and she was famn sure that she had seen his eyes full of lust . Then what was the reason for his withdrawal?

Was there an emergency at the office!? But in that case he could discuss it with her. After allshe was a part of his office . Maybe she could help him with something.

But then the problemhad to be huge because of Sagars reaction to it. She decided to wait till he trusted her enough to confide in her. Again her doubts arose because He had Cynthia for that.

She had lots of questions and she wanted answers but she was ready to wait.She fell asleep with these thoughts in mind.

Sagar looked at Jiya sleeping peacefully in her seat. She was so pretty and innocent that it was with huge restraint that he kept his hands to himself.
She must be confused but he appreciated that she didn't ask any questions. He was happy that she trusted him enough to wait for him to clarify what had happened suddenly?

He was doing this to protect her. They had to reach in time otherwise a huge scandal would erupt and she would be involved in it. She was too innocent for all this and he was to blame for it.


He knew the extent of his desire for her but it had too wait because this mess had to be cleared first. His first and foremost duty was to keep her away from all rhis. Then he had to find who had deceived him. He had already hired a private investigator who had assured results till the evening. Till then he had to practice damage cotrol also.

Sagar had not even glanced her way. She felt disappointed and confused.

Two cars were waiting for them at the landing to take them to their respective houses.

Jiya didn't even wave to him and left. She had a sad expression on her face.

Myra had not returned from abroad so she changed and cried herself to sleep.

Sagar went straight to his brother to speak With him regarding the situation.
