JIYA IS INNOCENT

  Nikhil came to pick her up in the evening. Sagar watched him bring her a bunch of flowers and Jiya thanking him and then both of them going together.

Jiya staying at Nikhil's place was another obstacle in his direction .

He was helpless because by evening everyone in the office knew that they were engaged.

The only advantage of this engagement was that whispers regarding Sagar and Jiya slowed down. Since Jiya was engaged to Nikhil so maybe the photos in the newspapers were not true because Nikhil would never marry Jiya if the rumours were true.

Another good news he received next day was that though the tender they had lost was given to Myra,s boss other company their private investigator had confirmed that both the sisters didn't know anything about it and they were not involved in the leak.

When Jiya arrived the next day Ritwik was giving a press statement " We just want to confirm that Sagar secretary Jiya is not involved in the leak snd whatever rumours were their regarding their relationship are false because Sagar is still a bachelor and Jiya is engaged to our dear friend and partner Mr Nikhil. However we assure that the matter is under investigation and as soon as we get further information we will update you"

Jiya was relieved that she was acquitted but her false engagement had gone too far andshe needed tosort this out soon.


"Jiya have you heard the news? Now you can go back to your house. No need to stay at Nikhil's place "

"Hey are you trying to influence my fiancée? I love having her around. I miss her when she is not around?" Nikhil enveloped her in his arms.

Jiya was feeling uncomfortable with Nikhil's behaviour.He was never like this at home but in office he behaved as a protective fiancee.

" Nikhil Myra is coming back tomorrow. Can you drop me home tonight so that Ican get the apartment cleaned?"

" Can't you stay tonight? I'll help you tomorrow. Darling it's going to be lonely without you'" Nikhil pulled her towards him and kissed her lightly on her lips.

Sagar went to his room. There he banged his fists on the wall in frustration. He had not been with a single woman since he had set his eyes on Jiya andnow she was no longer available.

Just then Ritwik called to inform him that since he was not involved in the leak he had spoken with the investors and they had agreed to let him join the board of directors again.

He was happy because life seemed to be returning to normal.

By the end of the week his mom had planned a party for his reentry to the board of directors . She had invited everyone including Nikhil. Nikhil would be coming with Jiya so he had invited Cynthia.
