THE NEXT MONTH

  Jiya liked working with Sagar. He was a quite laid back boss and the work load was not much. Infact she sometimes wondered because Sagar came to his office late and left early. Once a week he had a meeting with his brother-The Big Boss Ritwik Singhania and sometimes he went for the board meetings.

As for personal calls, he received many each day. She was given a list of ladies whose calls she was to transfer. Rest she had to give some excuse or the other.

She knew his good looks and money were a major attraction for the woman he dated. At present he was dating someone by the name of Cynthia. according to office grapevine she was a top model and most of Singhania products were endorsed by her.

She was also assigned the duty of sending flowers and gifts to his other girlfriends.
Initially she had felt odd buying gifts and flowers but now it had been one and a half month so she was getting used to it.

She had met Cynthia twice but had not liked her. Though Cynthia was gorgeous around 5 feet 8 inches tall blue eyes with a figure to die for yet she was a snob and treated her like she was someone below standard. Once or twice she had overheard her mentioning that small town schoolgirl.

But Jiya treated her with respect because Cynthia was officially Sagar's girlfriend and according to rumours she would be the next Mrs Singhania.

Today Jiya was not well but since there was not much work in the office she decided not to take leave. Sagar had come early and informed her that Cynthia was to come in half an hour and they would go for lunch together . He had asked her to cancel all meetings in the afternoon.

Sometimes Jiya felt jealous of Cynthioa's hold over Sagar because she did not deserve someone like Sagar. She was also sure that Cynthia did not love him. She was only after his money and the power which came with becoming Mrs singhania.However it was not her job to interfere in her bosses life.

But Sagar had been good to her. she had heard stories of him firing his secretaries or taking them to bed but he had attempted nothing with her.

Over the past one month and half she had become good friends with him.After she had cried one day the next day he had asked her not to be afraid of him and had asked her to be friends with him.She addressed him as Sagar and not sir while he called her Jiya. They would take their tea together where he would ask her about her work at the office or sometimes one or two personal questions.

She had been warned about Sagar but he had never shown any romantic interest in her. He never asked any inappropriate questions so he was behaving as a perfect gentleman with her.

So in all she was in a happy space. Sometimes she wished that Sagar would show some interest in her but would then realise it was not possible because she was not his type tall and gorgeous specially when he dated someone like Cynthia.

Sagar was observing Jiya carefully for the past month or so. he had started liking her. He enjoyed his morning tea with her. He enjoyed seeing her blush when he asked personal questions.

He could see that she was beautiful but she was totally unaware of her beauty. he had seen other office employees checking her out but she had not noticed.She was too innnocent so he had to tread carefully in his plan to seduce her. That is why he had started this friends acting with her. But he was an impatient man and all this waiting was too much for him.

It was more than a month and he had not been able to even kiss her. This was too slow. He had to do something soon
