THE SINGHANIA SCANDAL

FIRST DAY AT HER JOB

  Jiya reached her office fifteen minutes before time. She was to meet Nandita who was to help her on the first day. Nandita welcomed her and took her to her cabin which was adjacent to Sagar's cabin.

Since Sagar's secretary had left almost a month ago lot of filing work was pending so Jiya started on first filing and then she arranged her desk.Her room was on the fifthe floor and the view from the building was very nice. Her cabin was quite big with a desk to work, a small side table with tea and coffee makers and a two seater sofa for guests who were to meet her boss. The furnishing were dark brown and superior quality. She placed a picture of her family on one side of her desk. It was around mid noon and there was no sign of her boss. So she made herself a cup of tea and settled to see the view from her office.

Nandita called to ask if Sagar had arrived. She also informed Jiya that he had a board meeting to attend in two hours

Sagar had drunk a lot last night so he woke late. It was already 12 oclock when he woke up. He had a board meeting to attend in two hours so he rushed home to change.

By the time he reached his office it was half past two. He had a file to pick so he rushed to his cabin.

"Rosy get me my blue file"

"Which file sir and where is it kept?"

He turned back to see his new secretary. Today she was dressed in a dark blue salwar kameez. Her hair was tied in a bun. She looked like a school girl because she wore minimum makeup.

" Oh hell. My file is kept in a bunch of files on the table. Just get it"

Jiya was nervous. she could not find the file beacuse everything was thrown in a hap hazard way on the table

"Sir I am unable to find the file."

"You are such a useless secretary", saying this he marched in his room , took the file and marched off.

Jiya was in tears. It was her first day and already her boss had scolded her.

When Sagar came back from the meeting he found her crying.

"What the hell? Why are you crying?"

"I am sorry sir. This is my first job and I am feeling bad because I couldn't find your file for you", saying this she started crying loudly.

Sagar offered her his handkerchief and gave her a glass of water to drink ,"I am sorry I shouldn't have screamed at you"

Inwardly he was sorry that he was stuck with her for a full year because Ritwik had threatened him that if this secretary left Sagar's allowance would be cancelled so he had to bear with her.

When she stopped crying he asked her to bring a cup of tea for him.

Jiya was surprised to see that her boss was kindhearted.

When she took a cup of tea for him he asked her to bring one for herself also.

Jiya sat on the sofa in his room. He came and sat on the next sofa. He was so handsome that she could not take her eyes off him. When he sat near her he realised that she was pretty. Her complexion was fair and her eyes were mixed brown and golden.She had pink lips and a long creamy neck.

He asked her about her family and siblings.She belonged to a small town of Jaisalmer and had an elder sister who worked as a manager in a reputed Advertising Agency- SN Advertising.

This was her first job and she was only nineteen years old. She seemed to be quite innocent.

A plan was formulating in his mind.If he couldn't fire her then maybe he could enjoy her. She was beautiful and innocent a rare combination to be found these days.
