THE SCANDAL ERUPTS

  Ritwik was furious with Sagar.

"I had informed you before only that the board of directors were monitoring you closely. Last time also I had literally begged them to reconsider but this time you have gone too far. Tomorrow the entire company eill know about your indescritions. I have spoken to my contacts but they day someone of our standing is involved so we might not be able to come out of it unscathed."

"Sagar why do you need to jeopardise your own future? You just had to wait another year till you turned thirty and your seat in board of directors would have become permanent. You couldn't wait for one year? Are you that desperate? "

" No bro it's not like that . Nobody knew where I was ? I don't know how the information leaked?"

Well I hope theprivate investigators are able to give us something by evening? But you be ready to face the company and the board of directors because you know they are old school so family honour is the most important for them. Because of our two new projects we cannot afford to lose them We need their financial support. One more thing whatever they decide I will have to support them to save the corporation but I assure you I have your best interests at heart. " Ritwik conveyed this to Sagar.

Sagar had never seen Ritwik tense and so helpless. He had always been the one to save Sagar from all troubles but this time the corporation was at stake so he agreed that Ritwik should take the correct decision.

" Don't worry bro I fully trust you and assure you I will get at the bottom of this"

"Are you sure she isn't involved in all this?"

"Yes I am damn sure she is innocent "


" I hope you are right otherwise she will have to face my wrath and you won't be able to stop me Sagar"

Sagar hoped that she was innocent because this project was a dream project for Ritwik and he would not accept defeat easily.

The next day as he feared the newspaper was full of Sagar Singhania and his indescritions.

Jiya had not come to office. He was informed that she had called sick.He decided to call her but was informed of an urgent board meeting. He would go to meet her in the evening

Jiya woke up late with a headache so she called office informing them of her leave today

Around noon Nikhil called,"Jiya are you ok?."He seemed to be worried.

"Yes why anything wrong? "

"No nothing actually you didn't come to officr that's why "

"Oh that I was not well had a headache so decided to rest today"

"Fine I will come in the evening .Ok bye"

Jiya took a medicine and went to sleep again.
