19. Adoption?!

Sorry this chapter is really sad.
Y/n pov:
We got back to the team 10 house yesterday. I was in the the kitchen when I got a phone call from kat. I walk to the living room*
Kat:* crying* " y/n"
Y/n:" oh my god kat what's wrong"
Kat:" mom she's gone"
*i was paralyzed. I dropped my phone shattering it. Everyone noticed and turned around. I fell to the floor. Jake comes running towards me. I start screaming.*
Y/n:" NOOOOO NOOOOO NOOOOOOOO PLEASE NOOO!!"
Jake:" Y/N WHATS WRONG!"
Y/n:" WHY GOD WHYYYY....MOM!!!
Jake:" Y/N CALM DOWN!"
*i pushed him off. I Buried my head into the floor and punched it. I got up and ran to. The wall that we hit and punched it many times causing my hand to bleed. Jake came up to me and pulled me away I fought trying to get away from him. Ivan picked up my phone and it was shut off. I calmed down in Jakes arms he let's go of me and my fall back to the floor.*
Jake:" now tell us what happened"
Y/n:" My mom.... she gone"
Jake:" c'mon let's clean your hand."
*he picks me up and washes my hand off causing me to wince. He wraps it and I go up to the roof. I stay up there for an hour until someone finally comes up to me. *
Ivan:" are you ok?"
Y/n:" I knew this would happen. I have to help kat. Can you go get Jake?"
*jake comes up.*
Y/n:" my sister kat. She's 15. She can't take care of herself. She'll be sent to a foster home. Jake I have to help her."
Jake:" ok"
Y/n:" Jake please let her stay here for a while. She's all alone. "
Jake:" where would she stay here?"
*i get up and grab his shirt.*
Y/n:" she would stay with me. I'll make sure she doesn't bother us. I'll send her to high school so she's not here all day. Please Jake imagine if this happened to you"
Jake:" fine."
Y/n:" thank you I'll leave tomorrow to go get her so she doesn't fly alone. Oh my god Jake I don't have parents anymore."
Jake:" I'm sorry"
*i sit back down. But this time facing the front yard. I sit there until morning. I watch the sun rise. I could never go to sleep again. I go downstairs at near 7:30. I booked a flight for 8:45 at the LAX. I go to my room go pack and leave a note on the counter that reads " guys I'm going home to get my sister be back tomorrow". I board my plane and fall asleep. I wake up and go home to pack all of kats clothes and went To the hospital to get kat. I see her in the lobby and run to her, she stands up and I hug her. We both start crying.*
Kat:" oh my god y/n"
Y/n:" c'mon let's go home."
* we get home. And she notices all her luggage.*
Kat:" what is this?"
Y/n:" Jake is letting you live with us. But you are going to high school. Go pack whatever you want that's left. We leave tomorrow."
Kat:" ok "
They live in Florida btw
* I go make up dinner and wait for her to come down. We eat dinner. And talk about team 10."
Kat:" so how's team 10"
Y/n:" it's like heaven. I'm always with my friends. They are so nice."
Kat:" I can't wait."
Y/n:" kat you coming live with us doesn't mea you're on the team. I'm sorry."
Kat:" its fine. At least I won't be all alone."
*we wake up the next morning and head to the airport. We landed in la and I drove me and kat back to the house. Everyone was happy with their greetings*
Jake:" hi kat. Sorry for your loss. I'm glad you'll be staying here. "
Kat:"thanks"
*ivan walks up and side hugs me.*
Y/n:" kat this is my boyfriend Ivan."
Ivan:" nice to meet you."
Y/n:" c'mon kat let's go to the room."
*we walk up to the room and get kat settled in. She took a nap while I was downstairs with Jake looking for high schools she can go to. We found one that's really nice sounding. We are going today to get her schedule and stuff.*
*an hour later*
*kat wakes up and me her and Jake drive to the high school. And we walk in the office.*
Jake:" hi we'd like to speak with the principal and get someone registered."
*the lady goes back and the principal comes out motioning us to his office.*
Jake:" im Jake this is y/n and this is kat."
Principal:" I'm kris Hobson. So what is up today?"
Y/n:" we would like to enroll kat into this high school."
Kris:" oh yes what grade?"
Jake:" 9th grade"
Kris:" ok kat can you fill this out for me? This Will help choose your classes."
Kat:" yes sir"
Kris:" so are y'all her parents?"
*me and Jake look at each other in awkwardness.*
Y/n:" no I'm her big sister and this is her frie- I'm mean brother."
Kris:" what about the parents. We need those?"
Y/n:" we don't have parents anymore."
Kris:" oh I'm sorry. You are going to have to have full custody of the child."
Jake:" how long will that take because she needs to start very soon?"
Kris:" it'll be faster if you two try to become like Foster parents and adopt her."
Jake:" oh ok. Where do we go for that?"
*he gave us directions and the school phone number and we went to the place and tried to adopt kat. *
*in the car*
Jake:" are you sure Ivan should be the foster parent?"
Y/n:" the kid doesn't even have a visa."
Jake:" I just feel weird since we aren't even together."
Y/n:" I know but we have to. For kat."
* I look back at kat and she smiles. We get the place and are immediately directed to an office.*
Linda:" hi I'm Linda"
Jake:" Jake, this is y/n, and kat"
Linda:" and what is going to be happening today?"
Y/n:" me and Jake want to adopt kat..."
