Lexa's POV

Today was the day. I couldn't forget it. Not since Lincoln kept reminding me everyday. And some thoughts that intruded my head of meeting Clarke. I decided on a white button down shirt, black slacks and navy vans. I decided to let my hair down into wavy curls. I only did this for special occasions. Apparently this was one of them, at least to Lincoln. Most other times I would have my hair in braids or in a ponytail if I were at soccer practice.

I could hear the screeching of tires outside, Lincoln is here. I grabbed my phone and keys. I quickly looked in the mirror. I decided to tone it down on the eyeliner today. It made me look less.. commander, usually I would have a more than good amount of it to mask my eyes and to give an intimidating look. But today, I didn't want to look intimidating, not as much at least.

"Lexa!" Lincoln shouted interrupting my thoughts. I huffed annoyed and ran down the steps and out the gates hopping into his car.

"Let's just get this over with.." I grumbled looking out the window. But before I did I quickly glanced at Lincoln noticing his attire. He was dressed up nicely, this girl must be special to him.

---
We finally arrived at this girl's house. Her house was, okay I guess.

"She's not answering" he muttered after calling her for the hundredth time.

"Then let's leave and go get some burgers or something-" I said trying to convince him.

"Sorry, sorry I'm late" A girl who I recognized as Octavia or as most people refer to her, O. Unlike us she was dressed in casual attire. It made me have doubtful thoughts of this girl, Lincoln seemed to notice her clothes too. I glanced over at him and raised my eyebrow with a 'Really?' Expression. I know Lincoln can do better than this.

"It's ok baby" he smiled and they shared a quick kiss which I quickly looked away to.

"Oh hi.. Lexa" She slightly waved noticing me, I just nodded in response. Lincoln shot me a glare forcing me to speak.

"Hi, O" I sighed. He shot me another look, obviously he wanted her to sit besides him in the front. I grumbled under my breath getting out and moving to the back.

"Really? You decided to bring out of all friends, her? You know I said double date. Clarke is coming. She's straight.." Octavia nagged to Lincoln. Oh I was this close to grabbing her by her stupid throat but I just clenched my jaw and looked out the window, counting anything. Counting always helped with my anger. It's what my father taught me.

One of the things key to a good business is keeping control of your temper. If anyone ever makes you upset just count the nearest objects. You'll remember this when you're older, even if I'm not that there.

"She's one of my closest friends. Plus her and Clarke can just go as friends" he smiled at her taking her hand "Please" she just sighed and nodded slightly.

Why was he begging her? She should be begging him not to let me kill her. What a spoiled, little son of a damn-

"Hey guys!" A sudden voice exclaimed in a joyous impression. I quickly looked over to find Clarke. At least she was dressed in decent attire. She had on a black crop top and low cut jeans matched with black converse. As my eyes scanned over her I realized she was smiling at me.

"Hi Lexa" she beamed. Her smile was so pure and innocent.

"Hi" I replied coldly, looking out the window so she couldn't see me blushing.

This is going to be hard.
