Lexa's POV
I was sure that was Clarke, the blonde hair and watery blue eyes were unmistakable as she glanced up at me. What was she doing here in the middle of the night sobbing on a bench, in the rain. Instead of thinking it out I quickly put my knife away and rushed over to her side.
"What're you doing here?" I asked as I slipped off my hoodie, draping it over her shaking shoulders.
"H-he.. I..." she barely managed to croak out between tears. I decided it'd be better to take her somewhere else instead of making her explain out here in the cold.
"Alright, we'll talk about this later" I stood up, a familiar electric feeling shot through me from my elbow, I quickly glanced over to Clarke.
"Don't leave me.. please.. I-I just. I need someone.. to talk to" her blue begging eyes pierced through me, causing my heart to ache. Not trusting myself to speak I nodded averting my eyes from hers.
"Let's go to a deli that's not so far from here, get you something to eat" I quickly peeked at her and saw a smile on her face as she stood up besides me.
"Thank you" her voice so soft filled my ears over the pitter patter of the rain and honking cars. A warm feeling expanded from my fingertips to my heart. It was so fast it practically took my breath away, enabling me to speak instead I just nodded and we walked in silence, the only sound heard was the ruckus of the city.
And the pitter patter of the rain.

Clexa's POVAfter a good hour and a half of searching the mall for Lexa,I decided to take a break and go home. It was a nice day outside. The leaves were fading from their bright green summer leaves to a warm autumn. It was beautiful, so beautiful that I had to take a picture for reference later, it seemed like a beautiful scenery to paint. As I took out my phone and backed up to get as much of the scenery in one frame, I bumped into someone behind me.
"Oh,sorry" I apologized, spinning around to find Finn staring at me with a smirk.
"Hey, princess, didn't think I'd find you here" I silently gagged at the name. Sure when we were dating it was cute, but now it just brought back memories I didn't want.
"Oh come on, don't act like you're better off as a.. gay" he sneered, moving towards me.
"What're you talking about?" I narrowed my eyes at him, confused. Where did he get this idea of me being a.. gay?
"You and command- Lexa. On a date." I almost laughed, covering my mouth to prevent from doing so.
"What's so funny?" He barked in my face his ears turning red as it did when he got mad. It wasn't like Lexa. Lexa's ears will turn into a light warm pink. His turned red and blotchy, full of anger"Nothing, I just can't believe that you, out of all people thought I was gay" I snickered quietly, sitting on a bench.
"Oh,you think this is funny? That this is a joke?" His chest puffed up, his eyes narrowing as he took big strides towards me. I narrowed my eyes sitting up straighter, looking him dead in the eyes.
"What do you want from me, Finn"
"That's the thing" his voice softened as the space between us thinned.
"I want you.." he whispered into my ear, bending down with his hands on each sides of my shoulder, blocking me."I.. I'm not ready to get back together." I stammered as I felt his hot breath against my skin.
"I can wait" I could feel his lips brush against my neck causing me to gasp.
"N-no! I don't think I'll ever be ready" I shouted panicking, I immediately regretted it as I saw the fury in his eyes. He was becoming violent again, reckless.
"I'll make you ready then." He grabbed my wrist pulling me along into a closed off space in the park, backing me up against a wall with his hand on my mouth. I squirmed, raising my knee to hit him but he put his knee between my thighs, causing my knees to buckle. Tears formed in my eyes as he pulled my pants along with my panties down.
"I'll make you remember why you love me, I'll make you regret leaving me. Every word you'll regret from that day." He whispered in my ear as he pulled his pants down, his hands roaming my body. I fought against him, but couldn't and I gave up once I realized this was going to happen.
Again.
----------
"And he left me there, ruined, again" I finished in between sobs. Lexa bought her and I sandwiches and we sat at the back of the deli as she sat there in silence listening to my story. I pulled her hoodie tightly around me, it felt comforting, it felt like home. It also smelt like home. The musky scent bringing back memories. This whole time Lexa has been silent. No words, she just stared at her feet with no emotion as she took several bites from her sandwich.
"I better go." I stood up tossing her hoodie back to her as I walked away.
"Where exactly would that be?" She spoke up, startling me almost.
"Home, duh" I rolled my eyes, I didn't mean to come off as rude but she wasn't the comforting type. I turned around on my heels and continued to walk.
"I'll walk you" she quickly caught up, walking besides me. I looked over at her and raised an eyebrow as she draped the hoodie back over my shoulders. Just then I realized underneath that hoodie she had a very.. thin white tank top and shorts. I could see her chiseled abs right through her wet shirt, I quickly averted my eyes back up to hers then at my feet.
"I'm fine, thank you"
"Clarke-" The sound of her saying my name, how it rolled off her tongue sent chills down my back.
"I'm fine, I can walk myself, god" all of the sudden she was comforting me after an hour of sobbing.
"I'm not just gonna stand here and think of how you could be getting raped again, or even worse"
"What's worse than getting raped?" I yelled stopping, my eyes searching in hers, for fear for concern for any emotion. But all it held was dullness and a blank space.
"Far worse than you can imagine. I don't want to scare you Clarke but if that's what it takes to keep from making a reckless mistake then I will." Her voice stern as she moved closer to me, her eyes staring into mine with intensity.
"Then your just gonna have to stand here and watch me make that mistake" I spat and continued to walk.
"Like hell I do" she grabbed my wrist turning me around to face her.
"I am the commander of the grounders. We are not the only gang Clarke, I notice you're new to this so I'm going to carefully tell you this so you will never forget it." Commander. Is this some type of game to her, she thinks she's a leader of some sort.
"I am Lexa, commander of the grounders. There are other gangs and right now we are traveling through very dangerous territory so if you would like to get shot in the head go ahead if not stay by me." That's when I realized she was telling the truth. When I saw the way her eyes held more than a blank space, but a dark past. A past where she learned many things from her own reckless mistakes."Fine, walk me home, commander" I shrugged walking a little behind her, giving her the satisfaction. Every few minutes she would glance over her shoulder then quickly look straight ahead. After a few minutes she finally realized she doesn't know where she's going and decided to walk besides me.
-
"Thanks for helping me. I appreciate it." I smiled and quickly hugged her closing my eyes and whispering one last thank you before heading inside.
After a few minutes I realized I still had her hoodie draped over my shoulders, I quickly looked out my window but she was already gone. Hopefully..
We meet again.
