Lexa's POV
"Commander!" A mocking voice boomed behind me, I spun around to be met face to face with Bellamy.
"What are you doing here?" He put on an innocent act, I kept a calm state. Counting the seconds down in my head."I'm.. I'm.."
"Commander is stuttering now? That's new, a mathlete and a st-st-stutter" A snicker escaped from him. I slid from the table, standing up tall, even though I was inches shorter than him. A smirk slipped onto my lips as I saw a glimpse of a flicker of fear passed across his face.
"Actually, Bellamy. That reminds me. You're dismissed from the Grounders until further notice." I looked over his shoulder, two of my men took the signal and pulled off his jacket, tossing it to me. He looked at me, bewildered.
"But-"
"Now, if you will excuse me, I have to schedule a meeting with the other clans so I can waste their time and tell them I had to kick out such a waste of space" I kept my voice at the same level, my features stoic as I spoke, but my words affected him. He bowed his head, moving aside as I strode past him, the patter of quick steps following me.
"Lexa, wait-" a familiar voice rang out, from behind me. I sighed, turning around.
"Clarke. Here to protect your boyfriend again?" The bitterness in my voice unmistakable.
"First of all,he is not my boyfriend. Second of all, no, I want to come with you to the meeting." I rolled my eyes, turning around beginning to walk back when a hand grabbed my arm, spinning me back around. Coming face to face with those ocean blue wonders that seemed to make me want to do sacrifice anything to let me see them everyday. I let my eyes quickly flick down to those pink lips, the cute mole that lay a little above her upper lip bringing my lips to a small smile before I quickly let my smile drop. A few mutters behind me from my crew brought me back.
"Lexa, don't we need a witness from outside of the crew to be there." A deep soft voice spoke, I glanced over my shoulder to see Lincoln, an unmistakable smirk on his face. I sighed, freeing my hand from her grip.
"10:00 tonight, I'll pick you up.."
"Isn't that a bit late-" I glared at her, warning her not to push it."Got it. Uh, should I write my address down or-"
"I'll figure it out" I waved her off, though the truth was I had already memorized it. For the safety of my crew of course.
---
"It's right on the corner" Lincoln parked right outside her house.
"Are you going to tell me how you know her address yet?" He locked his eyes on mine, I averted from his gaze looking out the window.
"I did some research on her, as I do to every new student."
"You usually skim through them, you spent hours on this one. Is there a specific reason?" He turned around, facing me, his eyebrows raised. I knew he what he was doing and so did he.
"No reason. Just happened to."
"Oh,come on Lexa" He groaned, turning back around, resting his hands on the steering wheel.
"Usual drivers don't talk much" I teased, meeting his eyes in the mirror, he rolled his eyes.
"Here comes your princess" I quickly looked out the window, earning a chuckle from Lincoln. I opened the car door from the inside for her. She slid in, looking a bit more excited and jumpy than usual. I raised an eyebrow, she had on a pair of jeans and a plain white shirt.
"Oh, sorry." She blushed slightly, I bit the inside of my cheek struggling to contain my smile, she was so adorable. Shut up, you have a meeting to attend to.
