"Sit!" I demanded at Xena. She looked at me and tilted her head sideways. I smiled and rubbed behind her ears. We were flying fast in the hovercar, me playing with Xena in the backseat, while Sage drove and Robyn rode shotgun.
It wasn't much of a drive, I didn't say much. Neither did Sage or Robyn.
Hovercars, left no trail, so the only way to track Aero down...
Was to sneak into government files, and find out.
But that couldn't be too hard, the only hard part was finding out where government files were kept. Wow, hovercars go a lot faster than that old Jeep... I noticed. I always took for granted, how hovercars were about 4 times faster, a lot smoother riding, crash resistant, and ran on a lot less gas. After about two hours of driving, and playing, little Xena-lena, (her new nickname) fell asleep on my lap. Not long after, I fell asleep too.

After a few, long days of stopping at stores where I stole food and water using my invisibility, we finnaly reached a town, to start our plan.I volentured to go, and the only reason they agreed was because I could disappear easiest. I didn't dress in black, figuring it would attract more attention more than hide me.
"And no more puppies, alright?" Sage whispered in my ear, while we hugged. I gave a single laugh.
"But what if Xena wants a friend?" I teased, and Xena popped her head up at her name. I gave her a quick pet, and hugged Robyn, despite her awkward posture.
"Uh- don't die" Robyn told me. I hugged her tighter, and promised her I wouldn't.
Throughout the road trip, Robyn hadn't opened up any more.
With that, I was off into the city. I stopped an oldish looking woman, with white hair and a blue t- shirt on. She had wrinkles around her eyes. She turned and looked at me.
"I'm sorry to bother you ma'am, but can you tell me where the nearest government building is?" I ask as innocently as I could. She took a moment to think.
"What's your name, deary?" She asked. "You look awfully familiar..."
"Oh, me? I don't think I've met you before... I'm here on visit, to see my grandmother," I lied. That must have been the wrong thing to say, because she looked very serious. She leaned in and whispered,
"It's not safe, for you to be out here Fawn Garcia. I suggest you get far, far away. They are looking for you. They are hunting you down. Don't go anywhere near the government. I'll keep your secret. Run,"
"Why would you help me?" I ask.
"Because I'm on your side. The Caverly System, won't let me visit my daughter and granddaughter, and I agree with you." She answered.
"Well, I am aware they are hunting me, but they have my best friend, and I couldn't live with myself if anything happened to him. So if you want to help me- tell me where to find a government facility, or let me risk asking someone who might not be as generous as you." I told her. She thinned her lips.
"Go down that road four blocks," she said, gesturing to a road to the left of me, " then turn right and go down that road six blocks. You'll arrive at the information and questions center." She informed me. "And- be careful, hon,"
I smiled, and kindly thanked her,
And took the first step to saving my Aero.
