We aren't in jail anymore... I realized in awe, as I opened my eyes. Wait- where are we?! How did we get here?
Instead of asking any of those questions, I groaned. My entire body tingled, and I was sore.
"How did we- who- what?" John asked. Aurora was kneeling down beside me, next to Sam.
"Aero? What happened?" Sam asked me, worridly. I slowly shook my head. Ignoring the pain and stiffness, I sat up. Immediately feeling lightheaded.
"I'm fine. I don't really wanna talk about it..." I explain. Sam opened his mouth to say something else, but Aurora elbowed him not-so-subtly in the side. I looked around, and saw big tall, bronze skyscrapers. City lights everywhere, and the entire city seemed to be buzzing with electricity. All the buildings had windows, and jumbo trons littered the sides of buildings, with many different ads, of many different sorts. I was laying on the ground, in front of a sweet smelling bronze shop. Then it clicked.
I know where we are!
"We are in Heathport!" I exclaim. Near Old Utah Area! I recalled when I went on vacation here.
Flashback:
I held my brothers hands, as I got off the hoverport. It was my first time on one, the closest to that was our city hoverbus. The hoverport was gigantic, and carried about one hundred people, plus a ton of luggage. All while flying through the air. I loved it.
"Here we are everyone, Hearthport Utah!" My dad exclaimed. We were here, for mom's work business. Mom separated from us, leaving dad in charge so she could find a hotel. I smiled, knowing dad would do something fun with us. We walked to a sweet smelling bronze store. We walked in, and the aroma of pastries hit me. Yum... dad bought us each something to eat, and a coffee for himself. We started eating, and surprised mom with her favorite pastry- a cinnamon roll.
We begged dad to take us there, again, and again. We ended up going there every day of that vacation.
Flashback over
I noticed a lot of people were staring down at me weirdly. Probably because I'm laying on the sidewalk... I stood up, and faked a smile at Sam and Aurora. John was still staring up at the city in awestruck. I pulled him by the elbow, closer to us, as I noticed him start to wander off slightly. How did we get here...?
"Alright, who has the powers?" I ask, my voice only audible to Sam, Aurora and John.
"Huh?"
"Who brought us here?" I ask. They looked at each other, then at me.
"You, probably." Sam told me. Pft, what?! No..
"It wasn't." I assured him.
"Oh yeah? If any of us had the powers, why would we wait days, for you to show up, before escaping?" Aurora challenged.
"You-" I started. "I-" I couldn't come up for any reasonable explanation. I tried to remember what Fawn said about her invisibility. I just think it, and it happens...
"I'll try something," I suggest, and think of what to think. Hmm... what do I think? Or "command"? Uh... take us to the inside of the bakery?
A lady screamed, and I snapped open my eyes.
I can teleport!
