Kay went flying into Lillie's apartment and jumped into Lillie's arms. "I have missed you so much! I am so glad we get to spend the weekend together. What do you want to do first?" Lillie laughed at Kay for being so over the top with excitement. "Actually Kay bear, we need to go shopping first." Lillie groaned at the thought of trying on clothes. She has always hated shopping for herself. "None of my clothes fit me, I have nothing to wear, and James is coming out with us this weekend. I want to look nice." Kay laughed. "Lil, how many times do I have to tell you that you are beautiful? Seriously, you would look good wearing your grandma's house coat." At that thought, both girls busted out laughing.

They grabbed their stuff and headed out to the car. Kay made Lillie go in every store at the mall and try on what seemed like hundreds of outfits. After settling on a couple different outfits, Kay was starving. She was one of those girls that could eat a gallon of ice cream every day and still not be able to gain an ounce. It drove Lillie crazy how opposite they were when it came to that. "Lillie, I am freaking starving. Do you want to go out or order in? It will be my treat." Lillie paused for a second before answering her best friend. "I just want a salad, but you can order in. I just want to go flop in my bed and stay there for like twelve hours. You want to write my papers for me?" Kay hadn't seen Lillie in quite a while, and she noticed right away the changes in her friend. She was more stressed out than Kay remembered her being and she didn't like it one bit.

Lillie woke up early Saturday and went for a jog. When she got home Kay was still sleeping, so she jumped in the shower and settled in with her computer and her textbooks. When Kay got up, she made her way into the kitchen for some coffee, rifled through the cupboards and the fridge. "Lillie Mae! You have seriously NOTHING to eat. How the hell can you live like this?" She turned to her friend as she just shrugged. "Lillie, seriously, you need food. Give me your credit card and point me in the direction of the grocery store. I cannot stay here all weekend with nothing to eat, and you need to eat better than this. I have all day while you do your homework, I am cooking you some healthy meals and freezing them for you so you can eat."

Lillie hated the lectures. She handed over her credit card and pointed to her left. "Straight down that road. You can't miss it. You better get HEALTHY stuff, I am not like you Kay, I can't eat without regretting it when I look in the mirror. You weigh as much as a sack of potatoes, whereas I'm a heifer." Kay slapped her friend on the back of the head. "STFU Lil, seriously." Kay was really upset about the way her friend seemed to be so stressed and so self conscious. She threw on some jeans and a tank top and walked out the door. She came back an hour later with a ton of food and hit the kitchen.

James was standing in the bathroom after he got out of the shower. He looked at himself in the mirror and rolled his eyes. "No way would someone as beautiful as her ever go for someone like me." He said to himself as he walked off the get dressed. He had made plans with Lillie for the night, and couldn't stop thinking and stressing about them. He wasn't much of a drinker, so he offered to pick up Lillie and her friend so they could enjoy themselves. He was starting to regret telling her that he would go out. He saw her as the most beautiful girl in the world, and was pretty sure that she saw him as the goofy guy she worked with. He was pretty sure she would end up flirting with other guys and he knew that would just kill him. When he was finally ready to go, he sent her a text and headed for the door. It was going to be a LONG night.

James was in the parking lot of Lillie's building when he saw a pretty, dark haired girl walk around the corner and then his breath was taken away. There was Lillie in this beautiful blue dress that was a little low cut and came just above her knees. Her hair was down, and straightened. She looked like an angel. He got out of his car and greeted the girls and opened the car doors for them both. "Ladies, you both look wonderful tonight. Are you ready to go?" After they both nodded, he shut their doors and got in the driver's seat. "Where are we headed to?" Lillie looked over at him and smiled. "I told Seth we would meet him at Dexter's Lounge and then we can just go from there."
