Lillie woke up in Jamie's arms again, and it made her smile. She could tell he was still sleeping because she could hear his even, heavy breaths. She glanced at the clock next to her bed to see that it was six o'clock in the morning. She knew she should probably wake him so he could go home and get ready for work. She knew she would see him again in just a couple hours, but she wanted just a few more minutes before he let go of her. She had known him for two years now, but this last two days with him had been incredible. She knew that she would end up falling fast for this man. She started to worry about working with him and dating him. What if something went wrong with them, would she be forced to quit her job? Lillie took a big, deep breath and made herself stop worrying about the what-ifs.

James woke up to Lillie gently kissing him all over his face and whispering his name. He knew it was time to get up and go get ready for work, but he didn't want to take his arms from around her. He was so afraid that once he left she would change her mind about wanting to be with him. He knew his heart couldn't take that. He needed her like he needed air. He gave her a weak smile. "Good morning beautiful. How about we both call in sick and stay in bed all day?" He knew she would never go for it, and they would get it so much trouble at work. She laughed at his remark, and her laugh made his smile brighten. He could listen to her laugh every minute of every day. He loved her smiles, and loved her laughs.

They decided that Lillie would get ready quickly and they would go to Jamie's place for him to get ready, and they would ride into work together. They pulled into the employee parking lot, killed the engine and both turned to look at the other one. Jamie leaned over and kissed her gently on the neck and whispered in her ear, "It is going to be so hard keeping my hands off you at work. You are so beautiful and I just want to kiss you all day long." Lillie blushed and pushed him away from her. "Okay charmer, whatever you say." She laughed at him. She couldn't believe how happy she had felt waking up to next to him.

Lillie kept looking at James throughout the day trying to figure out if the man was real or just a figment of her imagination. They couldn't take their breaks together because someone needed to be there to answer the phone. When it was Lillie's turn to go on break she went over and snuck him a small kiss on his cheek. "I'm going to the gym, be back in thirty. Don't miss me too much." She giggled and walked out the door. The whole time she was working out she was thinking about the weekend and how comfortable she felt in his arms. She was wishing she could spend the night with him again, but it was Monday. Even though her class with Seth ended, Mondays and Thursdays were still theirs to spend together. She wasn't going to bail on her friends or allow a new relationship to get in the way of the friendships she had built.

James was distracted all day at work. He would catch a glimpse of Lillie out of the corner of his eye, and that was all it took to send him into la-la land. He remembered every kiss she gave him, every time he brushed her skin with his fingers. He remembered how beautiful she was wearing nothing but panties and his button up shirt. He couldn't stop thinking about her. When she was on her lunch break, he made sure to place an order for flowers. He was having a bouquet sent to work, and another one to be delivered to her house that night. He knew from all of their conversations that Monday nights were her nights to spend with her friend Seth. At first, James was a little jealous of Seth but, after the weekend and going out with them to the bar, he realized that Seth would never be a problem. He was going to miss her like crazy though. After arranging to have the flowers delivered at certain times, he decided to have a fruit arrangement sent to her as well.

She came back from the gym and took Jamie's breath away again. Every time he looked at her, she was more beautiful than the time before. He didn't want to go on his break, but had plans. He kissed her on the forehead on his way out of their office and forced himself not to look at her on his way out because he knew he wouldn't leave if he did. He came back in from his break half an hour later, and slipped a little box in front of her. She was on a call so she couldn't say anything, she just looked at him with shock in her eyes.
