"Uh hey..you must be waiting on Kodie?" I asked her unlocking the door and letting her in and she took a seat on the couch while I sat in a chair across the room
"Yea I texted her like thirty minutes ago, she said she would be here" she said frowning
"Oh probably got stuck talking to a teacher...but what's up with the flower??" I asked her confused
"She didn't tell you? It's her birthday today" she said smiling...well damn she wasn't gonna tell me it's her birthday.
"Oh....Nah she ain't tell me"
"Why not?" She asked tilting her head to the side with furrowed eyebrows
"I don't know to be honest, I really think she doesn't like me" I said shrugging my shoulders
"Because when I try to make conversation with her she would keep it short or ignore me, and she's always rolling her damn eyes at me" I continued

"Its a surprise Ima take her out to the cheesecake factory and the the movies and arcade...just sum slight to show her some fun" she said and in walks kodie
"Happy birthday best friend!!" she yelled jumping up giving Kodie the flower and a hug
"Yeen gotta scream, I'm right here Mililani.." she mumbled smelling the flower
