"Man when you gon call me something other than Ms Brooks?" I asked into the phone, we were face timing each other

"It was ok, I have so much work to get done plus Kodies.....it stressful but I really don't need her stressing." She said and I nodded
"So Wassup with yall? Are y'all like best friends or sum?" I asked curious for my own personal reasons
"Yea, best friends. She forever, she ain't going nowhere." She said with a small smile
"That's real. But Wassup with her she sort of quiet and secluded?"
"Yea....she been through a lot and still is going through a lot." She said biting her lip with a look of sadness on her face
"Damn, this world we live in today ain't shit....it's just to much going on" I said feeling for her. I couldn't imagine what's she's going through it could be anything. This world and the people who live in it Today are just so cruel...
"Yea it is, that's why I try to be the best person I can be. We don't need more crazies in this world, we need people to be loving and caring, not afraid to share their heart......You know? I want to be one of those people ...."
