Friends, Maybe More

Chapter 18

I looked at my watch and saw that the time was about 3:00.  My dad will be home in about an hour and a half so I have plenty of time but if I got home at 4:00 my dad would be wondering why I was home so early.  I decided that I would tell him that I didn't feel too great so I left early.  But how would I hide Lily until I finally tell him what really happened today.  Luckily I brought my purse with me today and Lily could easily fit in it because she is so small.  

We turned the corner to my street, I looked at my watch and it was about 4:00 so I really didn't miss too much school if I actually went, but my dad wouldn't figure that out.  

Harry pulled into my driveway hopped out of the car and walked to my side and opened the door for me to get out.  

"Thank you Harry." I say to him

"Your welcome babe." He says to me

The way he says babe is music to my ears.  With his gorgeous accent it's perfect.  

I give him a quick kiss on the cheek and get the house keys out of my purse.  I put Lily in my purse then walk inside.  

I hear the car faintly driving away so hopefully my dad doesnt' hear that.  I see my dad sitting down in his office out of the corner of my eye and I try to sneak up to my room but then I hear his voice call me over.
